2020 Presidential Race

I don't think it is a secret that moderate and center-left folks are concerned about the party going way too far left. But one thing to consider is that Bernie was resoundingly crushed in the primaries in favor for the more moderate Biden. The problem is that the fringe of the Democratic Party is really damn loud. And they have received a lot of pushback from liberals and moderates because of their bs purity tests. The Democratic Party only works as a big tent. The Far Left either fails to realize that or doesn't give a damn.

Was Bernie truly defeated in the primaries or was he squashed by the DNC via way of superdelegates because the DNC knew he would lose in the general if he was nominated?

Bernie was done when he lost every single county to Biden in the Michigan primary.

Every time I see one of these Republican Senators on TV claiming this charade by them is "not about Trump, its about voting integrity" I fully expect lightning to strike them dead right on the spot.

Meh, they will be judged for their lies down the line.

Again not what you were discussing when I responded.

You were specifically discussing the dissolution of the electoral college.
If Trump Republicans continue to whine and moan about the certification of the electoral college it will only give full to the fire for those who want to get rid of it.

What's really gonna happen is they'll decide the state legislatures need to certify the results instead of the SOS or governor, they'll get it passed in a few swing states, then one of those swing state's legislature will flip from R to D.

That's an old, tired way of thinking for the new breed of Republicans Carlos. It assumes consistency with prior action and that the public will remember what they did yesterday. As they made perfectly clear with ACB, they will take the polar opposite position that they took just a few years earlier, knowing that their supporters care only about power, not principle.

‘Fweedom’: Kamala Harris Story About Demanding Civil Rights As Toddler Lifted From 1965 MLK Jr. Interview

Evidence emerged Monday on Twitter that a story Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) told Elle magazine in October about demanding civil rights from the time she was in a stroller was seemingly lifted from a similar story that Martin Luther King Jr. gave to Playboy in 1965.

“Senator Kamala Harris started her life’s work young,” Elle’s glowing profile began. “She laughs from her gut, the way you would with family, as she remembers being wheeled through an Oakland, California, civil rights march in a stroller with no straps with her parents and her uncle. At some point, she fell from the stroller (few safety regulations existed for children’s equipment back then), and the adults, caught up in the rapture of protest, just kept on marching. By the time they noticed little Kamala was gone and doubled back, she was understandably upset. ‘My mother tells the story about how I’m fussing’ Harris says, ‘and she’s like, ‘Baby, what do you want? What do you need?’ And I just looked at her and I said, ‘Fweedom.””

When the interview reemerged Monday on Twitter, Maclean’s contributing editor Andray Domise noted how closely Harris’ childhood tale resembled a story King told Playboy more than half a century ago. During an interview with Alex Haley, King answered a question about the burdens of being the leader of the Civil Rights movement. Describing his suffering for the cause, he referenced the inspiration he received from a story he had heard about a little girl:

Makes you wonder why she didn’t stay in Canada where she could be fwee.

Why the protest to an audit and put this to rest? 99% of America would say "Hey it is over. Gotta win the ballot box".
You guys spent 3 years trying to "get" Trump, but this is waaaay beyond Trump winning the election.
Not enough evidence for audits. They have done recounts and found it to be within acceptable norms.
