2020 Presidential Race

No doubt, because they hear your side say free college, free healthcare, free food, free unlimited abortions. And anyone who disagrees with all these freebies is a racist
There are plenty of people who disagree with that and hate Trump. Hell, that probably describes most Republicans in Congress.

Oh good, a state Trump will win without even going there.
Maybe. And if the young people in a quickly fading red state are so overwhelmingly anti-Trump, one can only imagine how the young people in other states must feel.
Seriously though, many of the young I know are not from GA and many are not staying in GA. My little bubbles are spread out all over.

Not if the ones you know are voting for socialist like you will be

It obviously means they hate America, wish to turn it into Venezuela, and are only concerned with getting as much free stuff for themselves as possible.

The amazing thing is that there are many on her who believe it means just that.

From Pew from the last midterms

Turnout rates increased the most for the Millennial generation, roughly doubling between 2014 and 2018 – from 22% to 42%.

Midterms are very fickle and subject to local political whims, as well as historical midterm fallout for party in power. In 2016, I see record 51% turnout and it was still not enough to push HRC over the top.

Everything I see is the TO in 2018 was 31%. Just a random few.

The Youth Vote Had a Big Impact on the 2018 Midterms, but It Could've Been MUCH Bigger
Poll: only 28 percent of young voters say they will certainly vote in the 2018 midterms

Comparing a midterm vote turnout to a Presidential election turnout makes no sense.

That is exactly what you are doing. Using mid terms to translate to a Presidential. I recognized the record 51% TO in 2016 and it was not enough.

I am just disputing your 42% TO in 2018.

I am simply stating that millennial turnout is increasing as shown by it nearly doubling from 2014 to 2018. I am not claiming it will double from 2016 to 2020. I don’t think that logic holds.
But I do think it strongly suggests a higher turnout in 2020 vs 2016.

All young people aren’t against Trump just the weak entitled ones.

As far as I can tell, you have provided no evidence that it was 42% in 2018 or that it doubled from 2014-2018.
Everything I linked shows 31% TO in 2018.
Only thing I see is chart on post 13,436, and this does not even show Millennial age group, only 18-39 YO.

I was quoting a pew article

Luckily we have millions turning 18.

That's one thing you've actually gotten right, Luther. Of course, the people working hard to empower the young and lower the voting age knew most kids who've never worked for a living, never paid taxes that benefit others, never had to face financial reality would vote for the more liberal (read Dim) candidates. All they had to do was sell a bunch of libs and those without in depth thought processes about how unfair life was for the kiddies, and a war in Vietnam kicked off by Dims made it an easy sell.

BS. Your side is all about buying votes by giving away free stuff and cancelling student debt. At least they haven't advocated cancelling credit card debt ... as far as we know.

You are missing a lot. Younger people have been indoctrinated to believe that protecting the environment is important. This involves an entire value system including the concept of "green technology". They see what Trump has done to the EPA and how little regard he has for the environment. They are also more inclined than an elderly person to believe in social engineering. It really shouldn't be hard to understand why Trump would have very little appeal to them.

Everyone wants to protect the environment but not at the sudden expense of crippling the economy. Young people have zero sense of basic economics hence the student debt crisis.
