2020 Primaries

Biden is a terrible candidate...wait, actually they all are but he is also a weak candidate. At least the other terrible candidates have energy even decrepit Bernie. Bernie is just sad really. He has no punch in his voice and he sounds like he's begging. He keeps using the same tired lines. He was Barack's VP and he has black...and brown, support. I want him to win the democratic nomination because he is a joke but I think he is done unless a few southern states give him some energy.

I think Trump would destroy Bernie as well but I don't want socialism to get no where near the top of our political discourse and many of the liberals on this board shouldn't either.

Vegas disagrees. I'm far from a fan of his intentions but a betting man throws it behind Bernie. He would win decisively against Trump. We'd lose again as a country, but there's facts.

I think if unemployment remains at a record low, wages continue to be solid, overall economy is good and we’re not sucked into a geopolitical mess, Trump wears Bernie out all day long and twice on Sundays. He’ll pull more minorities than 2016 and carry more independents/fence sitters.

It's technically NOT Bernie. Delegate vote count goes to Buttigieg at 23, Sanders 21.

This is one time I would go against the Vegas odds. I honestly find it hard to believe people would embrace his socialist ideas.

Congrats to Bernie and supporters for his win in New Hampshire. National delegate count from the NH primary is 9 each for Bernie and Pete, 6 for Amy.

Biden and Warren receive no national delegates.

Didn't want folks to think I was ducking the forum because Pete came in second in NH (less than 2% difference between my boy and the Bern, hence the tie in delegates).

I'll be posting much less if at all in the next few weeks. I'm sure you guys will be fine with that. Carry on with the usual.

They are both pleading with the base to understand that a self admitted Democratic Socialist is not electable in a National election and that’s its a failed ideology.
It's only about the bolded, nothing more, nothing less.

Is this not a freaking embarrassment to the current state of affairs in the USA? It’s a group of mental misfits, freaks and ass clowns
There is no denying that the US has certainly been embarrassed over the past 3 years.
Any of the dems would represent a regaining of a little dignity.

Roughly half of the country is all in on being socialist a few 2016 Trump voters stay home and he wins. I still don’t think Bernie will be the candidate

We are already partially socialistic. The right will go all out in their attempts to bastardize the term, like they attempted to do with "liberal' 30 years ago. It's part of their scare tactics.
No one is going to do any more than move the needle of capitalism/socialism a little
