I’ve never seen a team end up on the right damn side of breaks as much as Vanderbilt.

Tennessee hit a Grand Slam in the bottom of the 9th down 3 runs.

It wasn’t just about the wild pitch. Candy was down to their final strike on a 1-2 count and Stanford walked him. That’s what started everything.

So getting big hits are considered breaks? We had 2 hits and a walk in the bottom of the 9th before the grand slam. Vandy had a ball that should’ve been eaten to begin with, get by a first basemen who has been great defensively that allowed the tying run to get to 3rd. A pitcher who’s worst pitch in 3 innings has been a few inches off the plate suddenly throws a ball 7.5 ft high. I can see the similarities in breaks between the two.

Ya know, back when I really was a noob, I would go to Vandy Mania, which unlike this place might only have what I would call a few active threads per forum, a few responses.

My recollection was I was never rude, usually just trying to figure out the average take of the board. Occasionally I would read posts from UT fans I thought crossed the line and they were met extremely harshly by the owner of that board and others.

I have tried hard to make this place the antithesis of that place.

However, if you come here to gloat. You deserve what you get.

They didn’t do **** against Leiter. He threw a complete game four hitter. The game was lost at the plate for VU.

The Bradfield hit scores Vaz from second with or without the error. Game is tied at that point. Who knows if Carter Young gets a hit without the Wild Pitch.
