The key here is for it to be not a huge blowout. Need Vandy to keep putting in the pen to try to keep it close. State has the advantage of pitching comfortably, Vandy does not. If it's a 10 run lead, they all shut it down and just pitch a 14 year old.

Looking ahead Bednar threw 96 Saturday so he would be coming back on 3 days rest...Macleod only 36 yesterday....I swear I would think about starting Simms and then using whoever matches up best...rest of State's relievers should be fine

I'm generally not a huge fan of changing familiar roles but I think he would give them best shot vs Bednar who would be short starting and Macleod who Vandy has already seen...and hit
