We are one of the best, but if you’re one of the best that should come with a fair draw. This is arguably the toughest regional in the whole field and Vandy who is the #4 seed got a cakewalk compared to us.

Respect is earned over a series of successful seasons. One great season does not buy us the nation respect we think they deserve. Look at the much easier draw the vandy boys got. Based solely on their past performances. Just win games on the field and everything else will take care of itself.

I don’t think anyone is “scared” per se but a national seed shouldn’t have to fight for their life to get out of a regional. That’s what we’re going to have to do. We got the highest 4 seed by far, who could’ve/should’ve been a 3 seed at minimum, the 2nd highest 2 seed, and the 4th highest 3 seed. In theory we should got the 14th best at each seed but do what you can given geography.

You play the games you have. Been many years in basketball where Tn fans bemoaned the bracket and then it panned out in our favor…. And many years we applauded an “easy” bracket and yet we got eliminated by one of those cakewalk teams. Got an opportunity to prove we belong. Let’s do it.

All true, but it won't get any easier as the tournament plays out. I would prefer tougher competition to keep us sharp and focused.
