Yup. No fear. They’ve gone out all year and won. No one gave them a shot in the SEC tournament and we run ruled two teams. Something tells me the fans are the only ones scared right now.

I agree with this. When you have aspirations of winning the whole thing, you can’t be b!tch!ng and moaning about being in a regional with three teams that have little chance. Champions win the games in front of them...and those that fold their tents and go home don’t. It’s as simple as that.

Wright State finished on a win streak including 6 of which were over a Milwaukee team that finished the season 22-33, and 4 of which were over an Oakland team that finished the season 18-29. Perspective is everything. They are not world beaters nor a team that should prevent the Vols from advancing.

I don’t think anyone in here is saying we shouldn’t still win the regional if we play well, we should. I’d just like to see the seeding make a little more sense. The drastic difference in the Nashville regional and Knoxville regional is a little dumb, but as many have said you just gotta win.

Hopefully CTV uses this as fuel.

You know, my only gripe is this...you shouldn’t reward teams for not trying in the Conference Championships because they were locked at the end of the regular season, MSU and VU come to mind.

Duke is a sub 500 in-conference team, and on the road. They are familiar with Liberty, having beaten them twice.
Liberty dominated their conference, good road team, beat a lot of ACC teams. They're good enough to whip Duke.
Wright State dominated their conference, great home team, OK road team, lost all five match-ups with SEC teams (Vandy and Bama early in season)
