But how good really is Michigan's win against Ohio St? Ohio St lost to Oregon as well, who got throttled by Utah twice. How good really is Cincy's win over ND? ND's most impressive win this year was against Wisconsin.
None of these teams are really as good as advertised.
Oh, they should be. But for whatever reason this year none of these top teams have multiple wins that are all that impressive.True. I agree GA should be in the playoff at the end of the day. But outside of Bama, Ga, and Ole Miss the SEC wasn’t really the guantlet it usually is. Unsurprisingly we played all three.![]()
It's so funny how after the loss, the narrative totally flips. Even though the points they are making could have easily been made before the loss.
The issues with Bennett are patently obvious to anybody with a brain, and it was eminently foreseeable for those issues to crop up against a good defense in a big game.
What happened was Bama was able to pick up the Georgia pressure and expose Georgia's secondary. This loss will be placed at the feet of Bennett, and he certainly has issues, but let's also not forget that their defense was absolutely torched and they were totally incapable of running the ball (30 carries for 109 yards). It wasn't like if they started JT Daniels or if Bennett played better they would have won.
They were absolutely whipped by Alabama in multiple ways, which is absolutely hilarious, and ultimately seems to suggest it's a mental thing UGA has with Alabama where Alabama expects to win these types of games; UGA hopes to.
