I despise Vandy with the best of em but the clinic Christian Little has put on tonight at 17 yrs old vs. this OM offense is unbelievable. It’s maddening how they reload on the mound year after year.

He grimaced after the last pitch and flexed his hand. He was crying and biting his glove as he was being taken out; not sure if it was due to frustration of being taken out or if the pain was that bad.

Little showed up tonight but he had a 5 ERA in midweek games...honestly beyond Lieter and Rocker and possibly Maldonado Vandy pitchers don't scare me

Side note, if you haven’t watched “The Season” series with OM baseball that SECN has been showing it’s worth it if you just like baseball. The series has been on for 7 years or so and all the episodes are on YouTube. When I can’t find anything on tv I start pulling up random episodes to watch. I’ve never had an issue with OM to begin with and after seeing their culture from the inside and feeling like you know their guys, they’ve become a program in this league that I can follow and respect without the emotional ups and downs that come with being a true fan of a team.

He’s literally 17 and graduated HS a year early. He just pitched 2 hit shutout ball against the best offense in the SEC. Two weeks ago he should’ve been pitching in his HS district playoffs instead he was facing a top 15 UofL team in a midweek game. I’m willing to give him a break on his ERA this year.
