Florida is using a weekend guy and up 2-0
Kentucky does not have the resume to get in to tourney so I thought they'd sell out more today. They are 59 RPI so I'm guessing however they'd need to win the tourney to get in. So trying to steal the first game and then use regular staff may be best plan. 1 game is not getting it done.

that being said, I bet they have a quick leash

What do Gator fans think the "chomp" does?

Is it supposed to scare everyone else?

Do they pay UNLV a license fee since Rebel fans used it first during the Tark days?

That's what I love about baseball. The strategy to win a championship goes beyond 9 innings. It's 3D chest.

Surprised Gators went with Mace not sure they can improve their position they should be locked into a regional host and they aren't getting a national seed so not sure why the need

after losing 3 to Arkansas, they may have felt like the NCAA would give it to someone else based on the fact that there are so many SEC teams hosting. A win or 2 in Hoover should solidify their position to host.

Mace already over 40 in 3rd...don't think we will be seeing him again unless the Gators make it to Sunday

It’s funny to me how only in baseball does an SEC Tournament not really matter all that much to fans or coaches 😂

We’re talking about how teams “can’t improve their seeding, so why pitch X guy” which is just crazy. I love it. Hope we show out well though with the guys we do pitch.

as I mentioned in an earlier thread, it's all about Omaha.

When people talk about previuos years efforts, they never say "they won the conference or finished 2nd", they just say "they made it to Omaha".........

Florida better put several more runs on the board.
Kentucky will get to the Gator pen eventually and if they're still close; the they have a puncher's chance.
They're only down 2-0 now with a de facto walk on pitching right now.

Oh, I know it’s all about Omaha. I’m not saying that I’m surprised or this is news. It’s just a funny little quirk about baseball that I love. We debate about conference championships and conference tournaments in just about every other sport, but in baseball only one thing is king.
