I know there’s probably some fans that want him gone, but I have a hard time believing the Admin there will make the move. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

I agree however you never know anymore.........

the problem with high level success is if you have a few down years you are gone. the “lifetime“ contract may be the thing of the future.

I’m still confused about pitching really and what decisions they make about who starts and when. Who is our best pitcher? I like Sean hunley (not sure if I spelled that right).

It’s going to be interesting to see how our bullpen (Sewell, Rackers, Pleasants, McLaughlin, Kirby) is utilized throughout the tourney. I think we may find another guy that can stand toe-to-toe with the SEC’s best and can feel comfortable throwing them in tough situations in the post-season.

Both LSU and A&M would be hosting regionals if they played in any other conference. You’re going to have a bad year here. SEC gets more competitive every year.

The way TV will be managing the staff in this tourney will be different than the norm. He is trying to save Chad and Blade for regional play. I love the decision to go with Heflin. He will give us 5-6 solid innings because how efficient he is at throwing strikes. The outcome is almost irrelevant because we’ve locked up a Top 8 national seed by all accounts.
