I just turned on the Miss State and Alabama game....my god. Alabama does not miss. Really wish we weren’t on their side of the bracket.
On FD the line actually rose, its -4 now. O/U is 133. Im thinking about hitting the under pretty hard.Just checked...the Vols have opened as a 3 point favorite over the Gators. That’s at 10:55pm, the night prior to the game. I suspect money to come in on UF overnight and that margin to shrink to 1-1.5 by game time.
It’ll be interesting to see how far Bama makes it into the NCAA Tournament.
If they have an off shooting night, I could see them losing in the 2nd round, maybe Sweet Sixteen.
I mean, that’s about the same that can be said for any team. Any team that has a poor shooting performance is vulnerable. Hell, look at UVA against UMBC.
The issue is Alabama does not often have poor shooting nights. It’s exceedingly rare and the nights they do shoot poorly they have a solid defense to back them up. It’s every bit as good as our defense.
If we win today, I don’t like our chances tomorrow. I’m not sure we can score enough points.

I know that Alabama has surpassed UT in terms of defensive efficiency as per KenPom, and I’m aware that the Vols are anemic on offense to say the least, but I just can’t imagine any P5 team coming out as pitiful as MSU did in this first half.
For me, it was the 2008 Louisville loss.
We should have been a Final Four team that year at least.
I don’t think we’d have beaten UNC in the E8. But we should’ve been a 1 seed, and would’ve been had we not gagged in the SECT

Plus they have had more rest and recovery time since injuries, etc.I think some are betting on our experienced players to show up when they are in "lose or go home mode"
Fulky had a good game in potentially his last game in TBA. I think he and Pons push it and get back to playing like we know they can. They won't sit by and allow things to get out of hand like some games this season. Seniors tend to put the game in their hands and play with a heightened sense of urgency as the end gets nearer
