I think the last HS game I attended was in 2007-08 to watch Hopson in a tournament in Louisville, KY before he decided on a college. I also watched Springer play in an AAU game in Dallas last year. If Springer announces for UT, I may as well attend one of Ingram’s games in Dallas next season to try to make it 3 for 3.
Actually, I also recall watching Hubbs in the state final his senior year the day after UT lost in the SECT nearby.
Yeah, if you are talking about the top 7 he listed in early September, that list is evolving, I’d say. Maryland wasn’t included in that top 7, and, right now, he seems to be all about them, just recently visited them officially, and is from Maryland, originally, I believe.Harmon didn't list us in his top 7, but he's also one of three PGs on this list. I wonder how likely any of these guys are. All are top 60 players in 2021.

Targeted only or are there any OVs, interest, listing of TN as a finalist? Half of the top 14 is pretty strong no matter which category.
-VQRecruiting wise we mentioned last week that Tennessee was in to see 2021 Georgia prospect Kowacie Reeves. Reeves saw his ranking get bumped up to No. 35 nationally in the 2021 class in the update which was released this week. For now the 2021 board looks sharply defined, at least at the top. Look for some new names to pop up in the spring as guys Tennessee will seriously pursue, but for now the Vols are hard after a star studded list that includes five-stars Paolo Banchero (No. 2), Jabari Smith (No. 5), Kennedy Chandler (No. 10) and Harrison Ingram (No. 13). Landing anyone from that group would be a coup, landing a couple would be the foundation of another monster class.
Man, all 4 of those kids are the kind of players that UT rarely ever gets. Yes, Barnes and company pulled 3 kids close to that level in '20, but these 4, the Vols are recruiting in '21 are another step up. Ingram-60%, Chandler-40%, Smith-20%, Paolo-13% chance for the Vols. If Paolo or Chandler commit to UT, the other kid's percentage goes 25%, imo. I think UT, at the least gets Harrison Ingram because of the legacy thing. I know that doesn't always works out, but this time with the way he fits with Barnes program, it will. I think Smith would be a good fit, considering the current weakness for this UT team, rebounding. Smith seems more like a true PF than Paolo, but we couldn't go wrong either way. The future looks bright, hopefully this bump in the road, this year, won't hurt us.
