Not the worst scenario for UConn, I guess, given that it was decided they wouldn’t be hosting no matter what. Stanford is a better/more complete team than Texas State, but Sunken Diamond is fairly tame and I’d rather play in mild-weathered Palo Alto than in 105 degree weather in front of a raucous San Marcos crowd.

One thing that is glaringly obvious from watching these other games. Our bullpen is a strength for sure. We have a bunch of arms we trust, these other teams were hoping for stops.

So I was driving and had to listen to the end of the Arky game on radio. Both teams have websites that are garbage, but I finally found a radio station to stream the Arky broadcast.

Those two announcers are smarmy....well I can't add any other words without getting banned. They made fun of the osu fans, they were just so arrogant, and one of them even said the first base ump "didn't have the stones to end the game on a called check swing strike."

So thankful for Wilkerson.
