2022 NCAA Regionals and SUPER REGIONALS Discussion Thread (excluding Knoxville Super Regional)

Of all the other super regional matchups (other than Tennessee that is), which one intrigues y'all the most? UNC-Arkansas should be fun, as should ECU-Texas.

I think what Ole Miss is gonna do to Southern Miss may be illegal even in the state of Mississippi.
I still have yet to see 1 inning of a Southern Miss game this season, but that was impressive coming back to take out LSU. Not so sure they don't take out Ole Miss too. That place is going to be a hornets nest.

I think I'm actually pulling against every single SEC team, except maybe Auburn. Still torn on A&M. I don't have anything against them and I really don't like Louisville, but I want the weakest field possible in the CWS.

One of the craziest regional weekends college baseball history. What a fun, fun weekend.

However, at the end of the day, 11 of the 16 hosts advanced, so while the regionals themselves were nuts, we really didn't see many upsets.

It would be a good time for UNC to slaughter some hogs so we can have a nice 4th of July cookout.

Perfect Willis! You did a good job on scheduling those games.

I think Texas is a better team than ECU, but I'd like to see Texas win that Super Regional. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but IF we beat Notre Dame, Texas would be a fun matchup. Better team, but we all know our guys THRIVE on motivation and anger, and you can't tell me these dudes don't want revenge for the loss early in the year to Texas in Minute Maid, and the loss to Texas that sent them home from Omaha last year. Pete Hansen is elite, but the pure revenge factor might have us dropping 15 runs on Texas in that game. Our guys would be amped.

These are split by Omaha brackets right? So whoever advances on this side is a 4 team double elim?
