Nice effort. But, it would be great if someone like Jumper started a Hawk thread or used her class year thread. In this 2022 thread, beyond an occasional Pissott is great post, we are learning virtually nothing about 2022s. It’s like looking for an Easter egg on Easter Monday😀

That’s because there is no recruiting info to be had anymore. People used to have the inside track on who we are after. Not the case since Harper took over. Hasn’t been any accurate recruiting info on here in two years unless the player has already signed.

In addition to internal stuff, you’d normally expect periodic nuggets from national aau coaches, high school coaches, other recruits and even other collegiate staff. Now, that is more true with elite players but it’s still odd we get almost nothing except local stuff. It may be different on a pay site where there is someone actively working those contacts. So, we get what we pay for I suppose.

It would probably be a good idea if she knew the school’s name is Indiana University. But she’s really young, she’ll get the hang of it!
Oh Indiana, oh Indiana, we’re all for you! IU!

The competition in that district is mediocre at best this year. They are UConn playing D2 competition. Now you play the schedule you have and win because it's a no win situation, but lets not confuse that district with 4AAA this year.

Shows what you know...Webb and CAK have produced may collegiate players...Size doesn;t matter.

Remember when the other Coach K, the one from Duke was ruling the NCAA,,,Duke's enrollment is a little over 15,000, while North Carolina has nearly 30,000...SIze only matter to those with no size

Educate me. Are we talking about this years 11-12 Webb because I am or we talking Gloria Johnson Webb? Size wasn’t mentioned, just quality of the teams this year. Don’t twist or spin what I said. That division is mediocre at best, no need to tell you, you know that. If there’s was a P5 player from CAK or Webb in the last, let’s trim it to the last 3 years let me know.

Just checked out Pissott's stats, a little surprised that she doesn't hit a higher % of her shots...very good FT shooter, though. Sixty percent of her FG attempts have been 3-pointers. Rarely fouls (92 times in 58 games) and rarely gets fouled (just 85 FT attempts). Has averaged 2.3 TOs per game during her HS career, not bad at all.

I think the ratio of 2 vs 3 pt shot attempts pulls her overall Ave down. Like you pointed out 60% 3pta.
43% on 3s and 57% 2s

Hey GT,,,Do you remember a song called "Justine" by the Archies in the late 60's?

One thing that is great for Justine is that she’s mostly playing on the perimeter. Much easier on the joints. Often the tall girls are forced to play in the post, regardless of their perimeter talents. Post play is really hard on the knee joint, especially in a rapidly growing young woman. Shooting 25 footers is prettier and a lot easier on the knees.

Good point 09....Keep this girl healthy.

I visualize Justine as the "ultimate wing player".....She's way to much of an offensive threat to put her back to the basket and limit her mobility.....From the wing, she will be able to pop the big three balls, and the 10-15 footers with great regularity...

On defense she will make a difficult wall for our opponents to shoot over....With her outstanding height, defending from the wing, will cause our opponents to alter the projectory of many of their shots...And she will block a large number of them too.

Picture if you dare, a double wing offensive attack of Justine and Sara patrolling near the top of the key area...Each player is deadly from the outside...It will drive defenses insane...

Now, close your eyes a little tighter and picture Karoline down low rotating out to set the hard screen, for ether wing player, and then pick and roll back to her if the defense tries to stop the wing from shooting...

There are so many combinations these excellent ball players will be able to run...
IT'S GOING TO BE LETHAL!!!!
