I’m not sure what the cut off date is, but clearly Tennessee is trying to get these ‘22 kids in June and then turn around and bring them in later in the fall on another OV...nice strategy and unlikely kids will be able to hit 5 JR year visits before cutoff.

mentions Tennessee and Indiana as 2 scholars he knows he wants to visit, article was 2 days after Tennessee offered...I would say there’s some strong interest there. Looking at the ‘22 board is impressive, talking possibly 7-8 guys that this staff really like and they’ve all probable OV’ers in June.

Yep, looks like he was committed to Pitt for about 7 months as a sophomore, decommitting last July. I wonder if the decommitment had to do with his rising star as a player, and new options, or with Capel’s struggles as coach? Both, perhaps. It will be interesting to see if Capel survives another year, there, where it looks like they will struggle to make the NCAAT based on their recent personnel losses. That instability cannot be attractive to a player of JH-S’s caliber.

Another school where Dixon (and Howland) created so much success that fans expected too much, causing Dixon to bolt. Haven't been the same.
