RIght now I'm really looking into Minnesota,Boston College, Tennessee and Wichita State…


Tennessee: “The relationship is good and I've spoken to them a lot recently. I haven't gotten a chance to speak with the head coach as much, but my AAU coach talks to him more. That relationship has been pretty good though. I just want to learn more about their playstyle. From what I've seen, they play a lot of defense and go. They have bigs that rim run, get up ahead and just play. I've also never been there before so I'm excited to see it.``

Well, that’s insane. But in a good way. Crazy!

If we land him that would be the highest rated commit in TN history I believe. Going to be a battle till the end. Hope we can pull it out.

I would think that if Lindsay guaranteed Wallace that they would absolutely take both and continue to recruit Miller & Traore.

Yeah, I'm just thinking of available spots. Hypothetically, if Tennessee could only take 4 guys, and for the sake of this argument, say they have Edwards and Traore already committed, would you use two spots on Lindsay to guarantee Wallace if it then meant you couldn't take Miller.

I guess I ask that because I wonder who is more valuable to this team moving forward, Miller or Wallace, now that we have Edwards, Ziegler, and Powell, who are all pretty much guaranteed to be on the roster in 2022, and potentially Vescovi and Bailey.

I almost think I'd rather have Miller's size on the wing to balance the roster and hope I can upgrade on Lindsay with that 4th scholarship by not committing two scholarships to land Wallace.

Wallace & Miller are both almost certainly one and done, so who improves the roster more that next year? Obviously depends a ton on departures and you can probably manipulate it to make a case for both. If BHH is returning along with JJJ and others as expected then I would say there’s probably a bigger need for Wallace, if you lose JJJ and/or BHH then it may be Miller.

We don’t know what Zeigler is going to bring, I’m excited about him but no guarantee…Edwards will be a true freshman and we often forget the struggle most true freshman, especially PG’s, have with Barnes…so having Wallace who seemingly would bring a similar level to his play as Chandler would be comforting. If Zeigler and/or Edwards can hold down PG he’s at the 2, if they can’t then he can play PG.

Idk what the number is, I can’t believe @BruinVol isn't here because he’d be telling us all how this class is done as Barnes won’t oversign.

Again as of now we are 1 over, Chandler leaving brings us to even with Edwards committed…1 of BHH/JJJ seems likely, and then 1-3 transfers also seems quite plausible. So adding 2-4 more on top of Edwards seems most likely…4 in the fall maybe being a stretch, so 2-3 in the fall?

I don't even care how we fill out the rest of the class if those 2 are in it.
