2022 U.S. Senate Races

Some of these candidates for Senate are shocking. I could see maybe getting a House run, but the Senate. You as well Walker and Warnock.

Lol that's funny. Like when Bush said "nuclear power pants", among other things. None of this matches Joe and Fetterman though. Where they are at a total loss for words because they aren't as lucid as they used to be. Big difference.
I mean, Trump said he could murder someone on Fifth Avenue, and people would still vote for him. And he was right. Y'all do not care. There is proof right in this thread. But like I suspected, y'all won't give a ****.

Joe showered with his daughter by her own accounts...and you support and voted for him....do you really have room to judge given 1 said it...but you support the one who actually performed an illegal action not spoke about it...

Charles "Zeke" Goldblum was sentenced to life in prison for killing a man with garden shears in a parking garage in downtown Pittsburgh and later trying to hire a hitman to kill his accomplice in the brutal murder. As lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania, Senate hopeful John Fetterman voted to set Goldblum free in 2019 and said he was "happy" when the killer was released from prison last year.

Goldblum was convicted of first-degree murder in the 1976 killing of George Wilhelm as part of an insurance fraud cover-up. According to prosecutors, Goldblum and an accomplice, Clarence Miller, lured Wilhelm to a parking garage in Pittsburgh, where Goldblum stabbed the man 26 times. While out on bail, Goldblum tried to hire an undercover police officer to murder Miller, who had fingered Goldblum for the crime.

Iowa Democratic Senate nominee Mike Franken accused of assault by former campaign manager

Democratic Senate candidate Mike Franken speaks at an election-night event on June 7, 2022 in Des Moines, Iowa. The retired U.S. Navy admiral defeated U.S. Rep. Abby Finkenauer (D-IA) for the Democratic nomination on this November's ballot.

Mike Franken, the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in Iowa, has been accused by his former campaign manager of unwanted advances and assault.
According to the Iowa Field Report, Kimberley Strope-Boggus filed a report with Des Moines, Iowa police in April, accusing Franken of "unwanted advances, grabbing her, and kissing her on the mouth without consent."
The outlet noted that the accused's name was blacked out in the report, but that "context clues, including mention of staff names and their roles, make abundantly clear the name in question is indeed Senate candidate Mike Franken."

The report stated that the alleged incident between Franken and and Strope-Boggus occurred in the parking lot of an Ace Hardware after the two had drinks at a bar on Mar. 18.
It states that Franken “grabbed the collar of the vest [Strope-Boggus] was wearing and kissed her on her mouth" before she was able to "pull away."
According to the outlet, the report said that Franken's lawyer allegedly contacted lawyers for Stropes-Boggus and "attempted to silence her."
Franken will face incumbent Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley in the Nov. 8 general election.
Fox News' Power Rankings rate the race as "likely Republican."

Fetterman Wants To ‘Invest More’ in Public Schools. He Once Owed His School District Tens of Thousands.

Senate hopeful John Fetterman has cast himself as a champion of Pennsylvania's public schools, telling voters he will "make sure our public schools have the funding they need." But his tax records tell a different story. In fact, as mayor of Braddock, Pa., Fetterman failed to pay tens of thousands of dollars in taxes on time to his local school district, one of the poorest in the state.

Woodland Hills School District, which serves Braddock, placed nearly three-dozen tax liens against Fetterman totaling $18,692 for unpaid property taxes from 2006 to 2019, according to records reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon. The district sued Fetterman twice over the unpaid bills, resulting in default judgments against Fetterman totaling $3,769. Fetterman has since paid off the liens, but in some cases it took him more than six years to satisfy the debt.

Well this doesn’t make sense -

Fetterman, the Pennsylvania lieutenant governor who chairs the state's Board of Pardons (BOP), commissioned two reports last year released by Philadelphia Lawyers for Social Equity (PLSE) that recommended the BOP consider merit-based clemency for currently incarcerated second-degree murderers, as well as for the state legislature to reform the law that mandates life sentences without parole for second-degree murder convictions.

Democrats don’t believe in meritocracy.

Anti-Police Mandela Barnes Spent More Than Half A Million Taxpayer Dollars For Personal Security

BY: SOPHIA CORSO

Mandela Barnes thinks police should be stripped of resources that help keep you safe but uses your tax dollars for his own personal safety.

Wisconsin’s Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes, who is running against incumbent GOP Sen. Ron Johnson in the U.S. Senate race this November, has quite a radical track record of opposing law enforcement. But in keeping with the Democrats’ hierarchical protection-for-me-but-not-for-thee framework, Barnes has reportedly spent more than half a million in taxpayer dollars for personal security to keep himself safe, prompting Wisconsin Republican audit committee leaders to launch an investigation.

Barnes has reportedly “averaged more than 13½ hours of security protection a day — including weekdays, weekends and holidays” during his first three years as lieutenant governor, racking up a total cost of $608,528 for a total of 14,370 hours of security from January 2019 to November 20, 2021. As the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel pointed out, at a cost of $660 a day for patrol officer wages, Barnes has used “more than 10 times the number of hours of security detail that [his predecessor Lt. Gov. Rebecca] Kleefisch received during her entire second term from 2015-’18. The total number of hours of protection that Kleefisch had over that four-year period was 1,377, an average of less than one hour per day.”

His last name is Franken.

It looks like Herschel is going to bulldoze the competition like he's always done and pull it off. Physically, he still looks like he's game ready.
