Fetterman Officially Chickens Out

John Fetterman, the Democrat running for Senate in Pennsylvania, is not well. That much has been made clear by his recent public appearances. His speaking has been concerning, to say the least, and the lingering effects of his massive stroke, brought on by ignoring his doctor for half a decade, have shown him to be completely unfit to run for the office he’s seeking.

More recently, Mehmet Oz, the Republican in the race, has made Fettermans’ health an issue, specifically regarding the coming non-partisan debate scheduled in Pittsburgh. Would the Democrat, who can’t currently form coherent sentences and has been running a meme campaign, show up?

We have an answer: Fetterman has officially chickened out.

John Fetterman Effectively Admits He Isn't Fit For The Senate

The questions about John Fetterman’s health have swirled since he suffered a stroke in May. Now, Fetterman is effectively admitting that he is not fit to be a senator.

Fetterman has ducked out on a debate with Republican opponent Mehmet Oz for the first week of September, accusing Oz of being too mean to him. Fetterman claims he needs to focus more on recovering from his stroke.

But a stroke is a serious and potentially debilitating event. Fetterman certainly should be focusing on his recovery. Instead, he chose to chase political power by keeping up his Senate run after the stroke, first toppling Conor Lamb in the Democratic primary and then continuing to run against Oz without making any public appearances for three months. Now, he intends to avoid debating, and no debates are on the horizon.

How Raphael Warnock Doubled His Income Since Joining the Senate

Warnock made over half a million dollars in 2021—from book deals, outside employers, and speaking fees

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D., Ga.) more than doubled his income since joining the Senate last year, with most of his half-a-million-dollar haul coming from outside employers and book deals, according to his financial disclosure records.

Warnock disclosed a total income of $532,781 in 2021, a significant bump from the $221,602 he earned in the year before his election. Less than half of his income last year came from his Senate salary, which was $164,816. Ebenezer Baptist Church paid him an additional $120,964, including a $7,417-per-month housing allowance. Penguin Random House also paid him $243,750 as an advance on his memoir that was published in June, and he received $5,750 in speaking fees.

Warnock’s spike in earnings comes two years after he accused his predecessor, former Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler, of "us[ing] the people’s seat to enrich yourself." The income is likely to feed the perception that holding public office is a means to enrichment given how many lawmakers find a way to leverage their positions—over time—into multimillion-dollar fortunes. Warnock's 100 percent income increase shows how quickly that can happen, as he's doubled his take-home pay in just two years.

Herschel Walker hits Warnock over ex-wife's allegations in new ad

EXCLUSIVE — Georgia Senate candidates are taking aim at each other over past controversies as the battle for the upper chamber becomes increasingly heated.

In a digital ad released on Thursday, GOP nominee Herschel Walker’s campaign shows police footage of Sen. Raphael Warnock’s ex-wife Ouleye Ndoye accusing the Georgia Democrat of running over her foot with a car following a 2020 dispute outside her townhome.

The 45-second spot titled "What Else Is He Hiding?" features ominous music over an emotional video of Ndoye calling Warnock a “great actor,” with a narrator highlighting accusations that emerged as part of their divorce proceedings, including allegations that he has fallen short on reimbursing her for childcare costs.

Fetterman says he is 'feeling amazing' but Dodges Debate Questions in interview

In his first national TV interview since his stroke, Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman said he felt "fantastic" but would not commit to debating his Senate race opponent, Dr. Mehmet Oz, before the November election.

The Democrat, occasionally skipping over words while speaking, was interviewed alongside his wife, Gisele, by MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle on Wednesday. The Pennsylvania Senate candidate, who announced on Tuesday that he would not participate in a September debate against Oz, told Ruhle that he expects to make a full recovery from his May stroke within the next several months.

Fetterman wouldn't answer whether he would debate Oz at all before the November election, saying only, "When they want to get into a serious conversation and really talk about having a debate, I'd be happy to engage in that," calling the current discourse "deeply unserious."

Dr. Oz provides medical aid to flight passenger: Report

Dr. Mehmet Oz, the Pennsylvania GOP candidate running for Senate, aided a collapsed passenger on his Saturday flight from Louisville, Kentucky, to Philadelphia.

The celebrity doctor reportedly jumped into action when he heard a cry for help near the front of the American Airlines plane, where a man had collapsed while trying to get into the bathroom. He was on the nonstop flight that lasted less than two hours.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Fetterman's Ability To Serve as Senator In Question Amid Health Concerns

Pennsylvania paper says Democratic Senate candidate Must Debate GOP rival Dr. Mehmet Oz

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s editorial board questioned if Pennsylvania Democratic Senate candidate John Fetterman is fit for the job if he’s not capable of debating his opponent after suffering a stroke earlier this year.

Last week, Fetterman rejected GOP rival Dr. Mehmet Oz's offer to partake in their first debate in early September ahead of midterm elections, accusing his opponent of making light of the stroke he suffered. The Pennsylvania paper published an opinion piece titled "Beneath campaign nastiness, legitimate concerns about Fetterman's health," that detailed why an in-person debate is so critical to voters.

"If Mr. Fetterman is not well enough to debate his opponent, that raises serious concerns about his ability to serve as a United States senator," the Post-Gazette’s editorial board wrote.

But but muh Roe v Wade...it's going to take a special kind of dumba$$ery for the GOP to eff up this election....but I wouldn't put it past them. This is a lay-up midterm where the GOP should pick up a large amount of seats in the House, enough seats in the Senate to win back control and a handful of Governorships.

How Raphael Warnock Dodges Income Taxes

Warnock doesn't pay income taxes on a $90K ‘parsonage allowance’ from Atlanta church

Sen. Raphael Warnock (D., Ga.) has an unusual financial arrangement with an outside employer that allowed him to avoid income taxes on $89,000 in outside salary last year, according to tax experts.

Warnock, who works as the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, said the church paid him $89,000 last year as a "parsonage allowance"—as opposed to regular outside income, which is subject to strict limitations for senators under federal law. Lawmakers are not allowed to receive more than $29,895 in outside income.

The news raises questions about whether Warnock is taking a tax break that’s unavailable to the vast majority of Americans. Republicans say Warnock wants to raise taxes, pointing to his vote for a spending package in August that some analysts claim would increase taxes on low- and middle-income earners. The senator has also faced criticism for his outside financial arrangements from his opponent, Republican Herschel Walker. The Walker campaign has slammed Warnock for doubling his annual salary since taking office, raking in $120,000 from the Ebenezer Baptist Church and over $240,000 for a book deal.

This is absurd. "Be on the committee and keep your mouth shut". There is a reason some in your party are bucking, and it is because of this kind of blind bend the knee loyalty to Mango Mussolini. And as much as I dislike her, she isn't an idiot. She knows she would never win a presidential primary.

Tucker Carlson Calls Out Large Bump On John Fetterman’s Neck: ‘Keep Your Eyes On This Lump’

TC1.jpg

Fox News host Tucker Carlson highlighted a large bump on the back of U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman’s (D-PA) neck that has recently gained attention online as Fetterman’s overall fitness for office has been called into question following a stroke that he suffered earlier this year.

The segment on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” comes after The Washington Post Editorial Board wrote in an op-ed this week that Fetterman “should release his medical records for independent review.”

“He stammers, appears confused and keeps his remarks short. He’s held no news conferences,” the op-ed said.

“The Fetterman campaign squandered credibility by concealing from the public for two days after his stroke that he had been hospitalized,” the op-ed continued. “It waited weeks longer to reveal a more complete picture of his medical history, including that he had been diagnosed in 2017 with cardiomyopathy.”

And I thought Dr. Oz was a terrible candidate...but he is going to win by default over this clown. Dems should be pissed, no pun intended, that the Party got behind this guy.
Oz is still likely worse

I'm just amazed at the gop seeing the trash competition they have in places like this and GA but still being able to lower that bar. It's truly stunning and if this were sports they'd be arrested for throwing the game
