Fwiw, in local elections, I usually do vote Republican. I vote for Tim Burchett.@BowlBrother85 choice for Senate in Pennsylvania. Just imagine what his decisions are in the state of Tennessee. Fortunately they've probably all failed unless he votes for Steve Cohen.

In 2006, I voted for Bob Corker ... but that was because his opponent was Harold Ford Jr. and having lived in Memphis, I knew too much about the Ford family to vote for Harold Jr.

Understatement of the year, Bidens, Trumps, can't hold a candleI generally voted Democrat at that time. I know his family has a history of corruption but at the time I felt like he was his own man. Now I can't remember his policy positions. I just remember Corker trying to smear him with the Playboy story. I generally like listening to him now because he acts fairly level headed but I would be hardpressed to vote for him today because of the rest of the party. That is what hurt Bredesen. Tennesseans couldn't risk a Schumer vote.
