2022 U.S. Senate Races

You guys are the embodiment of the axiom "you get the government you deserve".

Isn't this what everyone is looking for??????

"I am working hard here in Wyoming to earn every vote," Cheney said at one point. "But I will also say this. I'm not going to lie. I'm not going to say things that aren't true about the election. My opponents are doing that, certainly simply for the purpose of getting elected.
"If I have to choose between maintaining a seat in the House of Representatives or protecting the constitutional republic and ensuring the American people know the truth about Donald Trump, I'm going to choose the Constitution and the truth every single day," she said at another.

Yes, but it isn't coming from her. As I say, as mean as Trump is perceived, still better than Biden, kamala, Harriss or obama

In a word .... Trump.

He loves celebrities, and he has known both Herschel Walker and Dr. Oz for a long time. Neither one has any business in the United States Senate, but since Trump endorsed them ... they were nominated by the party which has forgotten how to think for themselves.

Lol, not thinking for themselves? Comedy coming from a dim.

Rick Scott on GOP Midterm Chances: I Believe We’re Going to Win But It’s Going to Be Hard

National Republican Senatorial Committee chairman Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that he thought Republicans would win in this November’s midterm elections but acknowledged it will be “hard” to take back the Senate.

Florida’s Democratic Senate Frontrunner Said These Radical Activists Would Dismantle Police in ‘Very Thoughtful’ Way

Amid Senate run, Val Demings whitewashes past support for Minneapolis’s far-left city council

Florida Democratic Senate hopeful Val Demings wants voters to know she would never support abolishing the police. Two years ago, she praised a group of radical activists working to do just that as "thoughtful."

In a June 2020 interview with CBS, Demings voiced support for Minneapolis City Council members who pledged to "abolish the Minneapolis Police system as we know it" following the police killing of George Floyd. Demings had no doubt the council members and their activist allies would "come out with a plan" for a new policing system that would "keep Minneapolis safe but also bring the community and the police together in a much needed and long overdue way."

But days after Demings's interview, the council voted unanimously to eliminate the Minneapolis Police Department without establishing any kind of replacement. In December, the council voted to pull $8 million in police funding as part of its pledge to "transform our system of public safety." All the while, the far-left groups that demanded those changes made it clear they would not be satisfied until lawmakers abolished "jails, prisons, detention centers, [and] immigration enforcement."

Now, as Demings fights to unseat Senator Marco Rubio (R., Fla.), the Democrat is running away from her praise for the council. The position earned her praise amid the riots that followed Floyd’s death, when two-thirds of Americans supported the Black Lives Matter movement. Since then, support has plummeted to 31 percent, prompting Demings to use her status as a former cop to argue that she'd never "call abolishing the police ‘thoughtful.'"

EXCLUSIVE: Murkowski Challenger Blasts Incumbent’s Silence On Trump Raid A Week Before Alaska Primary

Alaska Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski’s Trump-endorsed primary challenger Kelly Tshibaka blasted the incumbent senator’s silence over the FBI’s unprecedented raid of a former president this week in an exclusive statement on Wednesday.

“Every American should condemn this gross abuse of power, because it means that there really are no limits on what federal agencies will do to citizens,” Tshibaka told The Federalist. “The fact that Lisa Murkowski can’t bring herself to call this what it is means she condones it. And that’s exactly what a D.C. insider who sides with Biden would do.”

Control of the Senate will come down to three races, North Carolina, Nevada, and Arizona. Which ever party wins two of those three races will control the senate in 2023.

What’s amazing is the Rs probably could have taken a seat in GA and maybe PA had they nominated someone even halfway decent.

The state of Georgia politics appear to be a trainwreck. It has to be shocking to people who grew up there. Pennsylvania doesn't appear far behind or possibly slightly worse depending on viewpoint.

Walker will likely win GA. That race is tighter than polls show.

Also,I wouldnt be surprised to see Trump carry OZ across the finish line. Fetterman is a joke.

You may be right on both but the fact that Walker and Oz are in a dogfight with two idiots says a lot. Fetterman appears to be a big lazy slob who never has accomplished anything and walks around in "I do gaming on youtube for a living" outfits. Built like Big Bird.

Neither Walker or Oz are winning their races.

Fetterman being a proud woke'ster is why I think he could lose that race. Oz is a terrible candidate but with this election being one that favors GOP turnout, it will be hard for such a hardcore leftist like Fetterman to win.

Atlanta metro area.

I mean any Republican has to overcome that every election. Things Walker has that Perdue/Loeffler didnt...he is likeable, he is actually MAGA, he'll have more than tepid support from Trump, and as I said with Fetterman this will be a friendly GOP turnout election and the leftist stooge he is running against is a proud woke'ster. The polling is tight and it will come down to turnout and how Indie's break. I think those are both favorable to Walker.

Twitter Announces They're Going to Put Their Thumb on the Scale for Midterms Again

Twitter is at it again. They just announced steps to “protect” the midterm elections.

According to their Twitter thread, “Starting today, we’ll begin enforcing the Civic Integrity Policy in context of the US 2022 midterms. This means we’ll take action against misleading claims about the voting process, misleading content intended to intimidate or dissuade people from participating in the election, or misleading claims that may undermine public confidence in elections outcomes.

When companies are left to their own devices to pick and choose what is "truth" they will always eventually abuse their power because it is run by people. I don't have a twitter account. The best way for people to handle Twitter is to leave or delete their accounts. They won't survive off adult material and neo-marxist group think.
