Showing disappointment is one thing. Calling for coaches heads as many on here are practically doing, is another. And by the way, get down off your superior soapbox, you have no idea how old I am.Sorry, been a lady vol fan as long as you have been alive. Showing some disappointment in recent results doesn't make one less of a fan.
You folks with no legitimate reply always come back with name calling (so-called fan) and mis quotes (calling for coaches head)..reply with facts if you must reply...Showing disappointment is one thing. Maria needs to pop that question on Kellie. It starts and ends with the head coach. At the end of the day, the head coach is who the players are coming here to play for. I think on the court she is one of the top coaches, but coaching is not all about that. We have to be able to recruit better. The fact that she has never been known as a good recruiter is showing even more now. There should be a strategy. Figure out what players you have the best chance at and sell out on those players! Something is very wrong and it’s just too bad that no one in the media covering the team will be bold enough to ask Kellie what she thinks the problem is.
We have an ancient collective that was resurrected that obviously no one knows about and everyone is putting their money in Spyre, who when asked about female athletes, directs you to BHC. Spyre has raised 4.5 mil and pledged to raise 25 mil annually and our girls aren’t benefiting from that. BHC hasn’t even raised $200,000 and that’s for all 9 women’s programs. This isn’t on the coaches. It’s the space we’re living in now. People complain about not getting recruits, but obviously not supporting the NIL collective to be able to compete to get them here. Reviving BHC was a huge mistake imo. Fall festivals ain’t getting it doneYes. All the tik-tok and the cute videos and pool parties has landed us 0 recruits...Something else us going on...
The most curious thing is Kellie has made significant changes to upgrade the recruiting staff. Results are still sub par. There is something else taking place, I for one do not know what it is.

Should be a lot more even if every fan regardless of sport gave five dollars. Football draws over 100,000 five dollars each over doubles what is being collectedWe have an ancient collective that was resurrected that obviously no one knows about and everyone is putting their money in Spyre, who when asked about female athletes, directs you to BHC. Losing Nichols, Velez, and Booker when we were clearly leading can only mean a couple things. 1) there's dirty it on us and it's valid, or 2) we came up significantly short on NIL.
Or perhaps a legitimate issue surfaced late in the recruiting process. But, hey, you do you. Reach for the fantastical when the mundane, most likely is right in front of you. That's a good point. You can get yourself into a situation where the kids will feel like they have been jerked around depending on how you handle it. If you tell them their offers are contingent, or that they may get an offer, then that is one thing. If you offer them and then don't accept their commitment that is another. I could easily see that getting you a goose egg on the recruiting trail once word got around.
In either case, fans sitting on a message board making excuses for their team's failure by blaming recruits for being defective in some manner and not up to the team's standards will not play well at all. It will be seen for what it is, sour grapes and arrogance.
For the record, I wasn't singling you out, as you do to others. But if the shoe fits, then by all means wear it well. All I was stating was that the nega-vols have come out in full force, and the season hasn't even started yet. If you choose to include yourself in that group, well, that's your prerogative. It's a shame that some on here find the need to continually sh*t on the program, coaches, players, recruitment, etc. and call themselves fans. Especially at the start of what should be a special season. You don't see this kind of vitriol with other fan bases, which could be why some of your prized recruits decide against Tennessee. You folks with no legitimate reply always come back with name calling (so-called fan) and mis quotes (calling for coaches head)..reply with facts if you must reply...
