2023 Recruiting

Fulwiley team vs Ashlyn Watkins team..Watkins dunks on first play of game…Fulwiley puts on show

I honestly believe 2023 is going to be a huge class for Tennessee Lady Vol basketball. I think it will be rated top five in the country.

Anyone know what 2023 are very interested in TN as maybe in their top 5 ? I haven't seen a thing... they will be juniors so we should see something soon right??

Remember this name 6-0 6-1 G-W Reychel Douglas i posted about some time back only ranked #49 now, But trust me that will change. I have been watching her play in NC she will be a problem at the next level. SEC offers GA, M. State, Vandy, FL. Note she is involved in volleyball, she primarily focuses on basketball.

#9 and she has some hops.

What we need to know is who has visited and who will in Sept for football weekends. Given how few 2022 visits were reported during the summer, have to hope they are planning officials during Sept and early Oct.

Sounds eerily familiar to the refrain we heard a year ago about the 22 class. And it really ramped up when the chosen one, Pissott, committed and all these great players were going to follow her...

Just a lot of top rated players closer to Knoxville than in 2022. Not that we still couldn't have a good class in 2022 the options in 2023 are at a distance that is more favorable to Tennessee. Distance is always a key factor in the process for many recruits. I don't know who said recruits were going to follow Pissott because I doubt many of them even knew who she was until she committed to Tennessee.

What do you mean by "the chosen one" Just a young lady that wants to be a Lady Vol.. lay off of her..what a creep.

But who is this DARTH? A UConn fan? A failed middle school basketball player? Just who is this mystery person with a black cloud for a halo?

Well, we have new primary staff, and it takes time to develop relationships. Fact.

I’d agree it takes time assuming you mean one cycle when coming from EKU but not from FSU. Even with that, AAU ties established while at UL, should have still been in place. Coming from FSU is transferable as they should have been working a similar talent pool and even similar geographic priority. For example, the men’s team is the leader for Cason Wallace, who will be a top five talent, due to a recruiters AAU work prior to being hired by Barnes just a few months ago.

Add to that Kelly has been at TN since 22s and 23s were entering the recruiting scene and more time shouldn’t be a significant challenge.

She is an incredible talent. Word on the street is Ole Miss is her favorite. She had canceled multiple visits with LSU this summer just to go down there. I am not convinced of Coach Yo as a coach, but she sure is one hell of a recruiter.

and what exactly is coach Yo selling at Ole Miss??? they dont have a fanbase if it was TN vs Ole miss at their place there would probably be more TN fans there lol & their arena looks like highschool gym compared to ours....also ppl on this board saying we arent gonna get high level recruits without winning but what kind of winning has Ole Miss done in the past 3-4 years since Yo became coach
