Sounds like she is good at selling. At the end of the day, that is a big part of it and if you don’t or can’t, your ceiling is not high.

She really is selling her personality as Ole Miss has nothing else to offer. Some players will go there just because she is the coach and ignore the rest of what is Ole Miss.

Tennessee took a beating on image and culture for the last few seasons. That is about to change 2023 will be big for Tennessee. We may still get a couple top players in 2022 although with every commitment elsewhere that is getting less likely to happen.

Thats a good question. They hired the Maryland assistant coach to get S. Austin to come down to Ole Miss (which was a dramatic help for their program). They have used her and their "successful season" (relative to previous seasons at Ole Miss) to sell recruits that they are a program on the rise. Ole Miss is now making all kinds of top recruits final lists, like J. Barker for example. Its interesting to see.

Winning is pretty significant although recruiting is about relationship building, with the player and their family. Some have a natural talent when it comes to relationship building with kids, others not so much. Of course people like Geno, Tara and company will generally have the pick of the liter most the time given their resume. Winning gets you into the door but coaches still have to capitalize and finish the deal to land recruits.

listening to her following so many early losses, from the first 50 pt loss to the LVs she was/is impressive as a human being and as a coach. and the tee-shirt slogans emphasize the We. and remember the ole Miss campus and community is much, much more inviting than Starkville and I would never ever believed it would become a power in women's basketball.

GT another young lady in this class that should be on our radar 6-0 G-W Darrionna Howard my brother thinks, College recruiters in the building Clayton NC I will her to when the season starts up.

People believe she is a ND lean. Things could change of course. I really want Olivia Mcghee and Taliah Scott. Harrison (@pg) would be a nice addition too
