I haven't seen that quote. If you can find it I'd like to see it. She is a pro but just like Anna Makurat she is being compensated at an NCCA allowed level. She was born in DC and her dad played college in the USA. Evidently she started at the point for the Lithuanian National team last year. Very mature and a potential game changer as a freshman. Also I think for some of these Euro younger pros the NIL is a reason to come to the USA and build a more world wide brand.

But it's already done so...
More hearsay. There are a few members on this forum who just make things up. Maybe they want them to be true and by saying it, in some convoluted way, it confirms their hopes. Idk, but it happens way too frequently.
PS. If the quote can be verified, I'll happily apologize. But I'm not holding my breath.

Just looked her up ! 5’8” pg. rated. 3 star right now ? It will be interesting what her and Valez look like against each other ? 🤷‍♂️

Valez rated in the 30’s… I like her in 23…. I think she would be a good compliment to Miles …. She is from NY BUT Maybe Justine knows of her ? Her and Rosario would be a good two to get . JMO

Aalyeh Del Rosario …. 6’5” Post … she is for real ! Good hands on catching, shooting, either side of the goal . Good foul shooting and made one from about 13 feet ! Defense is decent even out at 20 feet when other team brings their big out away from the goal on purpose! She will definitely help us !

Angelica Velez 5’7” pg. she did not have a good offensive games today ? Fast breaks while contested … she missed lay ups but made her foul shots ! Ranked #38 and my first look she looked better than that but today maybe not that good ?

Loretto vs Ensworth …. Carley Weathers vs Cambridge ! Loretto won easily because they have a good team and Ensworth not a good team …. Cambridge is as good as you can get for a pg. A good crossover and three point shot just pretty . Good passer and obviously has a good BB IQ. Sometimes she looks bored having to play with lesser skilled teammates? JMO. But the best team was Loretto , with Weathers hitting threes , taking the ball to the hole and assisting ! Just a fine basketball player !

The family and kid made the visit to UT and had an offer but …… with COVID and for whatever the reason the coaches cooled off on her and (maybe) with drew the offer ????

Jada Harrison 3 star 5’10” pg . She did not have any trouble handeling the pressure from Webb guards ! She made her first three but missed the next ten shots ! Something I noticed that bothered me …. Velez was on a fast break and Jada gave her a forearm push when she tried to shoot the lay up ? Intentional foul and it was called ..,, The thing I did like ! Velez did not react negatively but jumped up and made both foul shots and kept playing like nothing happened…. Impressive !

Was that the only 2 players that impressed you from webb??
I agree about Cambridge she is a great PG but I hear she is not interested in TN... we will see.
I have seen Harrison in person, i was not impressed and was surprised when TN gave an offer honestly but not my call.

Like only two …. No ! But two ranked! They have a couple of guard/wing that are from Canada that start but already juniors ! No real good three point shooters but one can make a few…. I’ll look up her name . I like Tatianna Stoval (good athlete) but no shot past 5 feet ! She is 6’1” and a freshman (starts).

Actual scores ? No …. But Webb beat Stewart’s Creek and Westview …. Loretto beat Ensworth ! I watched about 3 other games but just waiting on the ones I mentioned. There was another gymn with equal number of games but I always just stayed in my original seat . Watching for fun and not scores and how many points , rebounds, etc.

The person I spoke to also said Cambridge has no interest in UT. I don't know how you can be that unimpressed with Jada, she is a really good young player.

So, apparently, can NC, NC State, Ole Miss, Fla State, Fla, Miami, Louisville, Georgia, Va Tech, S. Carolina, Kentucky, UCF, Michigan, Maryland, Vandy, Purdue, Rutgers, According to WBB Blog. The Louisville and S. Carolina offers came in 2020.

But I guess we should put more stock in a players ranking going into her junior season than an offer sheet like that? Is that what counts the most?

nope , nope , nope …. I have always asserted that we should look at WHO WANTS THIS RECRUIT! Considering South Carolina , Maryland, and Louisville are on her Twitter as we are …… then we are in good company pursuing this lady ! Justine was committed for over a year and no one ever heard of her till she committed. But this recruit is no secret to anyone! My flippant comment was because she is making this decision over two years out ! And we all know verbals are NOT binding…… so we will know in a few hours ? And whatever her decision, let’s see if it comes to fruition? Don’t put much stock in rankings especially two years out . Every one knows the top ten in the last bb season but looking out two years plus is a gamble! JMO

PS. We already have two fifty ish players in Rae at 43 and Key at 47 … they turned out ok

Its just my opinion. She was ok in a couple of games and others she was not impressive to me. I saw her several times over the summer and during HS season last year. I have seen kids much better that TN hasn't given a second thought to but again its just my opinion, everyone has one.
I feel Cambridge is holding out for a certain offer then she will make a big decision and come out with her TOP schools. I doubt TN will be a part of that.
