Just how good is Ashlynn? I’ve seen her described as a game changer and top of the elite bunch. I’ve not seen her play. What makes her an elite player?

I haven't seen a lot of her either, but what I've seen she can drive and score as well as fill it up from the three. Another automatic from the foul line and she is going to get there a lot because of her ability to draw fouls. If Kellie can pull off getting her were headed back to the top quickly. Stanford, UConn, and the instate schools will be tough to top, but hopefully we can do it. The thought of having her, Justine, and Sarah on the same team would mean headed back to the final four JMO.

Just how good is Ashlynn? I’ve seen her described as a game changer and top of the elite bunch. I’ve not seen her play. What makes her an elite player?

She is EFFICIENT and can play 1-3 ... she is going to make something POSITIVE happen... her work ethic is phenomenal. She also LOVES defense. Her dad always posts stuff of her and others working out and she is doing exactly what the guys are doing.

Love to have Shade, Booker, and Rosario would be very happy with those three players. Add a strong post from the portal for 2022 and a point guard these five would get us very close to returning to a final four.

She came to UT ON TWO different unofficial visits on their own dime. That says something! Not saying she is going to give us her verbal , but there is some interest on her part ! Just Saying

Was this the tournament that Webb school went too ? It looked like there were hundreds of schools there ? To me this tournament would be a nightmare to scout ! But I checked on Webb and they lost the first game and then won two and lost the last one and finished 10th on their bracket ! And there were many brackets. Don’t know about all tournament teams but maybe Harrison is better than when I watched her go one for ten in the first quarter she played in Nashville?

I also saw her take out a player physically while they were shooting a lay up ! The player had beaten her and was headed for an easy score and Harrison made what I call a dirty play and took down the other player ….. The player was not hurt bad but I don’t think a dirty basketball player would fit in at UT but some people will play this type of game ? Missouri comes to my mind !

Ha, Ha, NO BECAUSE Harrison knocked her to the floor before she got the shot off! But the player that got hit did not even give a discerning glance but went straight to the foul line and made both shots !

I did a little research on our interest in prospects that year …..#2 Raven Johnson had an offer but went to South Carolina . #7 Jersey Wolfenbarger had an offer but went to Arkansas.
#8 Olivia Miles went to Norte Dame . #10 Rori Harmon had an offer but went to Texas. #31 O’Mariah Gordon #31 went to Florida State . All of these recruits we were interested in and the thing in common ….. They could play point guard ! Brooklyn Miles plays point guard !

We needed a point guard ….. she turned out to be a good player and has contributed mightily to our team this year . We need more point guards ! None for 2022 as of yet but we better get another one sooner than later . JMO
