Wendell Green wide open and he takes a terrible shot. of course he falls to the ground as he shoots the ball trying to draw a foul. Maybe if he shoots it straight up and like a normal person the ball goes in rather than barely hitting rim.

Bruce made a great TO call with 3.5 seconds there to keep Auburn from jacking up a bad shot. Then he draws up a great play to get Green a wide open 3. Instead of shooting a normal shot, drama queen Green throws up his leg kick falling back pray for a foul shot...with no one near him. This is why blaming coaches for every loss is silly. Pearl did everything he could and Green blew it.

Yep. Kept hearing for 3 months how we need to buckle up because this March was going to be crazy, but so far it’s been very underwhelming.

Yep they are good. But if I hear one more word from Dykes, Smith etc propping up Nate Oats, Brandon Miller, the AD and this sham of a program, I’m going to puke. Dykes had the audacity to actually say it shows what kind of leader Oats is by talking about how he supports his players. Well it shows me something in another way that he would keep a player on his team that did what Miller did. It is an absolute joke which I at least hope comes out at the trial. At some point, Miller is going to have to speak under oath and we are going to see what happened. There are no illusions here. Oats and Alabama value winning above anything else. It’s as simple as that.

I feel like the best recipe if we must face Bama tomorrow is that they win in a blowout today. The bigger the margin the better. Teams often struggle to maintain that level of play in consecutive games. Conversely if we win today by single digits, that’s just fine.

The score margin right now is pretty deceptive. Alabama might be up by 20, but Miss State has missed a ton of wide open shots and a few layups right at the basket. The game really should be a lot closer than the score indicates. Alabama has played well, but not 20+ point lead well.

If we can get past Missouri, it depends on the refs we get for Bama. They don’t match up well with our physicality and we are athletic enough to defend them better than most. If the refs let us play, we can beat them again. Not having Ziegler hurts though in handling their pressure.
