Bruce made a great TO call with 3.5 seconds there to keep Auburn from jacking up a bad shot. Then he draws up a great play to get Green a wide open 3. Instead of shooting a normal shot, drama queen Green throws up his leg kick falling back pray for a foul shot...with no one near him. This is why blaming coaches for every loss is silly. Pearl did everything he could and Green blew it.

I’m not claiming to know everything basketball….but wouldn’t it be a higher percentage chance statistically to hit a good look 3 pointer than 3 consecutive free throws in crunch time?

If it is Wendell Green Jr we are talking about, this season he is a 29.5% 3pt shooter vs a 83.5% FT shooter. The probability of him making 3 consecutive FT should be roughly 58%. So his chances of making 3 consecutive FT is twice of that of making any given 3 point shot.

Probably lower than that since he is now a 34% FT shooter this season. His FT % has dropped more the 20 points since last season with almost the same amount of attempts
