You obviously don’t know how the process works for an athlete. athletes don’t go through the same competitive acceptance process as the general student body. If a coach wants a player then as long as the athlete meets the minimum required standards he gets in school. Think about the recent scandal where folks were paying to get their kids into UCLA, Stanford and Princeton as athletes even though they never played sportsYeah it is. UNC's grade standards are higher than a public university grade standards.
True. All I'm saying is the UNC Insiders said UNC would not take him because of gradesYou obviously don’t know how the process works for an athlete. athletes don’t go through the same competitive acceptance process as the general student body. I believe UT insiders and UNC insiders. Marquette idk bc they are a Group of 5, but the other 2 for sure. No point in arguing about this. If Aidoo performs in the classroom, he is going to be a great player for usLol so you believe them but not Marquette of UT folks? Got it…cheer on them Tar Heels.
Do you really believe this? So you think all the great players that have worn Carolina blue have been true scholar athletes? They turned down a 5* 7footer because they thought he might not finish his degree? If he plays to his potential he won’t be in college in 3 years anywayHis grades will get him in, but they aren't that good. UNC did not take him because they were worried that at some point in his time would not be academically eligible.
UNC is a public university. And one that for many years had fake classes for their basketball players
