I was looking at 247 for Julian Phillips and Rivals for Justin Edwards and it turns out these recruiting services have very, very different measurements for both guys. So, not reliable.

Do you have any new info on the new NIL Deal being worked out by Spyro in Phillip’s recruitment?

Apparently it raised the staffs’ confidence tremendously.

Hypothetically speaking is Justin Edwards good enough to reclassify, and has there been any talk of it. I know recent history we haven’t had good experiences with reclassifications, but don’t forget about Lamonte Turner and Santi. If I remember correctly Turner reclassified, and Santi came in early and played halfway through the year. Sometimes it works out good for us. I just think if we could get him this year he would fill the void of missing out on Phillips. Different players I know, but a starting 5 of a bit smaller of a lineup wouldn’t be bad if it was; PG: Collins SG: Vescovi F: JJJ F: Edwards C: ON y’all can’t tell me you wouldn’t love that starting 5. Edwards has a good season we have a pretty similar player coming in 2023 more than likely in Jarred Hall who can play the same position. Idk I just would like to have him this coming year. Especially if we can’t find any other post players. Just looking at each teams improvements; Ark, UK, and Auburn and I’m worried to say the least. They are totally restocking with such solid players. We will still be a good team but idk if we will finish 2nd again.

Yea he’s good enough, but there’s not been any talk of it to this point that I’m aware of. Also, Jarred Hall isn’t on the same planet as Edwards so acting like he would follow in and replace his doesn’t seem the least bit fair to Hall.

I’m not saying he is. What I’m saying is he can develop into the same type of player. He has a very high ceiling

His stats remind me the good ole days of being young as I never gained weight. This kid is 6’6 @ 165 pounds?

Speaking of Omaha Biliew, he is trending towards Iowa State. I had heard that last week but was waiting a little bit to see it out. Today he got 2 futurecasts to Iowa State

Guys we are pushing really hard for right now with Cade Phillips sidelined with injury so we can't watch him are Justin Edwards and Aden Holloway. With Barnes present for the Edwards game, Justin Edwards had a sequence in the first quarter where he had a block from behind, ran the floor put up a pump fake and got the defender to jump, and then drove by and postered someone. Aden played in an amazing game with probably 2 of the best AAU teams in the country playing (Had 5 star Kylan Boswell, Jared McCain, GG Jackson, Rob Dillingham and several high profile 4 stars). Barnes, Rod, and Gainey were all there for that game. Holloway had a rough day but he came through when it mattered and hit the game winning 3 with 4.9 seconds left

Side note on Cade Phillips is that Ethan Davis is on his AAU team. He's played well. I've only checked his stats from one game this weekend but that one game he had 9 points/4 rebounds/2 blocks/5 steals in a complementary role on a team that is also one of the best in the nation with 5 star guards Isaiah Collier, Kanaan Carlyle, and Marvel Allen along with NIBC national DPOY candidate Scotty Middleton (might've won actually but I don't remember for sure)
