Plans to visit Tennessee Andrej Stojakovic talks Kentucky offer; other schools sticking out
To add on
The game I watched he hit the game winning 3 but was 0-7 from 3 before that. Was against a team that had Boswell/McCainAden Holloway continues to capitalize off of what was a great high school season at La Lumiere. Matching up against highly rated guard prospects throughout the day, Holloway outdueled opponents on the floor by weaving through the defense to score inside, connecting on good looks from deep, and finding his teammates. His entire game is composed as he scored off his own offense with floaters, pullups, and spot up jumper opportunities. There were also great leadership qualities shown in him being vocal and never pressing when things got tight.

That's a fun, pie-in-the-sky theory. Unfortunately, I don't think any of that matters when it comes to Kentucky. They can decide to turn the heat on seemingly whenever they want and kids, generally, don't seem to mind. In fact, many, if not most, flock to them like a dog in heat as soon as they start showing them attention. Add in the fact that I seriously doubt we are going to outbid UK for a player, and well...I just won't get my hopes up.That was always going to happen, I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that…UK never went 3/4 deep for him this past weekend while Tennessee did every game of his. Again doesn’t mean we are getting him, but I think it still shows how we view him vs. how Kentucky does.

Not yet, anyway.Yeah, I know Edwards hasn’t claimed “dream school” for UK like Wallace did, but this recruitment is starting to smell exactly the same.

When UK starts fawning over him and waving a Porsche and $2 million at him, it won't be a surprise to hear Edwards call them his dream school. I would, too.
Haha, touche. I think I'd do the same, too.
I just will never feel comfortable competing against Kentucky for a 5-Star recruit no matter how late in the game they arrive. They just paid $2 million for one more year of Tshiebwe, if they want Edwards, they'll get Edwards.
And I don’t blame you for feeling that way, I’ll just add this…they are hard after Matas Buzelis, JJ Taylor and Andrej Stojakovic as well, 3 guys who are also listed as SF’s and some being higher ranked than Edwards. That's a fun, pie-in-the-sky theory. Well they really wanted Chandler and we got that oneHaha, touche. I think I'd do the same, too.

I’m not saying they won’t get him, but there haven’t been a bunch of H2H’s with us and Kentucky of late either though. Edwards already has a 7 figure deal on the table from Tennessee, not sure what UK has offered him, as I’ve already mentioned they have multiple guys at his position they’re recruiting.Chandler is looking more like an anomaly. If UK wants Edwards, they will get him. With the rumblings about Barnes neither being a fan of nor pushing NIL deals, I have zero confidence in his ability to recruit high-level prospects going forward.
See a bunch of cowards in this thread, geeeez.I’m not saying they won’t get him, but there haven’t been a bunch of H2H’s with us and Kentucky of late either though.
