4-star CG Aden Holloway
Aden Holloway has set an official visit for Miami this weekend. The 5-foot-11 four-star has already taken official visits to Wake Forest, Auburn, and Tennessee. Miami is a new school in the mix for Holloway. New Miami assistant Kotie Kimble established a relationship with Holloway while at Charlotte. While Miami is the new school, Auburn and Tennessee will be tough to beat. As of pressing enter on this article, I would give Auburn the slight edge.

Supposedly going to announce next month so will be one to keep an eye on

If there is a recruit that exists, Auburn is in their final 2-3 lol. I don’t know how that staff can have the time to be in on so many players, but they are LITERALLY in on practically every Top 100 player

Number 84 recruit nationally and number 1 in Tn. Seems like the Memphis area itself usually has 2 or 3 top 75 recruits nationally. Is it a down year in Tennessee or are the Memphis recruits playing at IMG or some other prep program out of state?

No mention of Tennessee. Rutgers, Maryland, Pitt, Michigan, were the schools mentioned. Believes he is Michigan's to lose at this point.

I don't know but Michigan leads with Rutgers in 2nd. Don't think we have been pushing here lately

On the recruiting front Tennessee should have a couple visitors on campus this month.

That will start next with with J.P. Estrella who will be in town on an official visit during the week. Estrella (6-foot-10, 210 pounds) is originally from Maine and attends prep school in New Hampshire. He made it town during this past season for an unofficial visit with his mother, an indication that he has some serious interest in the Vols, especially now that he’s making a return trip.

Tennessee continues to pursue 2023 point guard Aden Holloway hard. He’s tentatively expected to be in town for an unofficial visit in the next couple of weeks. He attends prep school in Indiana but is originally from Charlotte.

We mentioned big man Mike Nwoku in this space a couple of weeks ago as someone the Vols were targeting in the ’23 cycle. Tennessee made that official this week by extending an offer.

Nwoku, who is originally from Canada, attend prep school in North Carolina last year but looks headed to California for his senior year.

We had expected North Carolina shooting guard Freddie Dillone in for an official visit at the end of the month. That still may happen but at the moment that visit is up in the air. That’s no comment on the interest of either party, just a timing issue.

Great sign that Estrella is coming back, also that Holloway is coming here for an unofficial with a decision upcoming…if he doesn’t UOV anywhere else prior to announcing have to think Tennessee is in great shape there.
