If you take the lesser ranked guys at each position (Rechsteiner/Demary/Nwoko) it’s borderline Top 10, but those are also 3 guys likely moving up in the rankings. If you swap those for Holloway/Dilione/Estrella you’re looking at a Top 3, potentially #1 class.

Yeah if we find a way to run the table or even get 3 of Edwards, Holloway, Dilione, Estrella you gotta think we are sitting at 1 or 2. Unfortunately that’s prolly a pipe dream tho.

Give me Edwards and Estrella and I don’t care who you round the class out with. It’s probably 50/50 on both kids right now.

Btw, the staff had to take back their “your offer is pulled if you visit Duke” due to Estrella continuing to ball out. BTO, I know you’ll try and say it never happened because as Barnes PR man you argue anything that isn’t a glowing review, but apparently someone on the coaching staff really said that. Good news though is Estrella’s mom really wants him to go to UT and is actually telling him she doesn’t want him to go to Duke.

So not Barnes, which is what I suggested was the case…fwiw you are correct about mom, she loves Barnes and Tennessee.

Well I never said it was Barnes who said that to begin with. You just immediately jumped to his defense when he didn’t require defending.

Listen, you bring a lot of good stuff to the boards and I actually enjoy going back and forth with you. I don’t mind confrontation and I actually think it’s healthy at times. But you had a dust up in another thread yesterday over this same type of passive aggressive backhanded comments on posts. It just seems immature, unnecessary, and cheapens the content you provide. If you don’t care that’s fine, but I don’t get the need to be correct in a room full of strangers all the time.

I suggested that maybe an assistant was trying to put some pressure on him and tell him if he takes other visits they’ll have to push on some other guys, and maybe that was construed as an offer being pulled by someone. However you then mentioned that you know it’s hard for anyone to think Barnes would do something grimy, so that certainly seemed to suggest you saying it was Barnes and not an assistant. Fast forward a week or two and now it’s a 180 and Estrella has a spot here regardless of however many visits he decides to take.

I’ve been wrong plenty of times, I can list multiple examples off the top of my head, but I felt pretty confident on the Estrella deal that that wasn’t the case, and it turned out it wasn’t. As for a dust up yesterday, I really wasn’t shooting for that, I had no issues with whatever @TheMookieMonster take was on the situation, I was just trying to understand it and it kept changing, that was all.

Gotta love how Barnes is courtside at Edwards games practically every week and UK sends an assistant but it’s Kentucky so that’s all they have to do for a kid to care.
