Staff has been holding the line with writers and not giving them yes/no on signings. My source told me after WF visit that he was ours within weeks. I didn't say anything til yesterday, but probably shouldn't have. If they aren't telling writers with close relationships, some jackass on the internet probably shouldn't leak.

I was just stupid to respond. I didn't bring anything new to the discussion. I'm fine saying I'll be very surprised if we don't sign Estella. I'm just not going to pop in the day before and confirm it.

I don’t think you said anything that wasn’t already known. It was Jamie Shaw yesterday who came out and made the definitive prediction and statement and then the crystal balls poured in. Thanks for keeping us informed SF.

That Word Of God Christian Academy team is stacked, especially at the guard/wing positions. The top 3 players in the 2023 class in North Carolina (Isaiah Coleman, Dilione, and Brandon Gardner) all play for that WOGCA team, as well as Davin Cosby, who would be the #10 player in the state. Coleman, Dilione, and Cosby are all guard/wings in the 6-4 to 6-5 range.

That state is loaded again, in 2024, as well.

Yea I think 4 is the number for fall, maybe they’d have gone 5 with Edwards but maybe not…lot of variables on how many spots we will actually have.

My guess is they were given some really good vibes/assurances that they’ll get him.
