I figured Dilione, for sure, since their schedules would be similar, being high school teammates.I’ll be interested to see if Tennessee tries to bring in Cade Phillips, Dilione and Estrella (assuming UT commitment) for their OV’s on October 15th when Cosby is here.
Yea, I would think Dilione for sure…August 1st resets the calendar, WF was junior year visit.I figured Dilione, for sure, since their schedules would be similar, being high school teammates.
Curious, though, how Cosby is taking 6 OVs? None of those could be counted as junior year visits, I don't believe, could they, based on their date.
Rivals updated today…
#35 Freddie Dilione
#38 JP Estrella
#58 Silas Demary Jr.
#84 Davin Cosby Jr.
#105 Cade Phillips
I really believe this is the sweet spot for Tennessee recruiting. This zone is: 1) not so much one-and-dones; 2) not as much competition with blue bloods; 3) where Tennessee currently can compete in recruiting, and win on a consistent basis; 4) and most importantly, can consistently win on the court. I probably could add that it avoids the zero-and-dones, the ones who do not even show up for college, and go straight to the summer leagues.[/QUOTE
If we add Estrella and Cosby or Demary, that’s pretty blue blood. Dilione at 35 is still undervalued.

The issue is 2 years out it’s impossible to project where a guy will be in rankings come the summer prior to his senior year. We were in on Edwards prior to his blowup, same for Cason Wallace, you don’t just give up on those guys when they do blow up.Yeah, I think it's fine to dabble in the upper echelons, but we just don't need to hang our hat on it. I think they are finally finding their place in recruiting, is what I'm saying. 35 - 105 is a nice range to do most of their work.
Unless you are talking about senior year JRich, which I’m not sure how fair that would be to Cosby, I don’t really see it that much. Richardson was a horrible 3pt shooter his first 3 seasons, better as a JR but didn’t take many at all, that is literally what is considered to be Cosby’s greatest strength. His senior year when he became a good perimeter shooter Richardson was playing PG which I don’t think is something Cosby does.Whoever gave the JRich comparison for Cosby....you hit the nail on the head with that one.
