That's incredible! That's real courage on a level we haven't seen since Hunter Dickinson put himself first.

I very well could turn out to look like a fool, but i’m no stranger to that.

I don't think Nelson is the needle mover for Kentucky that fans think he will be. They would still be very bare when it comes to the post.

It’s apples and oranges in terms of roles they’ll play I think, but in terms of impact I’ll definitely take them having Nelson over Oscar, as I think any non-Kentucky fan would

Barring what happens today at the deadline, UK is almost desperate for bodies at this point. Nelson is the top player available left in the portal. Their fans will need to swallow some pride just to field a team.

Probably depends on what Oscar decides to do today, but I would definitely think they would try to go hard after him. If no Oscar, then they only have 2 total post players on the roster.
Yes, they become much more attractive if Oscar stays in the draft.

It’s honestly wild that on May 31st Kentucky only has 7 players and only 2 of them have any college experience and they both hardly played last year.

Very interested how their roster turns out.

Hard to ask for transfers to sign on when we got 5 recruits coming in, 2 returnees, and 3 guys holding the program hostage by waiting until the midnight hour to make a choice
