He does, but only two returning players who combine to average 4.8 ppg, last year. Going to be a steep learning curve if they aren't able to supplement that roster with some veterans, and honestly, the chemistry will still take time to develop with that many new faces. Talent is definitely there, but we've seen multiple times, talent isn't always enough. Maybe this group is different due to the massive level of incoming ability, but that remains to be seen.
I think UK fans are definitely a bit let down by the spring period transactions, and have more tempered expectations, now. Many who were on the fence about Cal's future wanted to give him another shot based on this incoming class, believed to be his best since the Wall/Cousins class, but could have never suspected the mass exodus that would leave those 5 guys as basically the last guys standing. A failure to produce a run with this group could be the straw that breaks the camel's back for them.
