Hysterical that all the "breaking reports" from a few hours ago now look like an orchestrated pressure campaign to "speak it into being" ... i.e., Biden's withdrawal.

They are basically trying to collapse the campaign from the inside to FORCE him to abandon it.

BUT, he might very well think "I'll just run a repeat of 2020 and do all my appearances from right here in my basement. Worked last time."

But the coup de grace will be -- as a last resort -- if prominent Dems simply go on the record saying "He's no longer mentally competent. He's infirm and his advancing dementia are disqualifying."

His own party will publicly call for new competency testing with the results to be made public.

The worst case scenario is no longer just a wipe out in the Electoral College - it is a incredibly low turnout if Joe is on the ballot and losing 50 House seats and 8-10 Senate seats.

Imagine a Trump Admin. with 60 votes in the Senate.

If Biden stays in, it is not out of the realm of possibility. I think what is finally going to push Joe out is the realization that he is dragging down the chances of taking the House and holding on to the Senate. I think they are accepting that they will lose the White House and are going all in in building a firewall in the House of Representatives to thwart what Trump wants to do.

I don’t know the House map. Were the Democrats expecting to take the House this cycle?
