From Jan 23rd to June 8th, 16,610,102 people voted in the Democratic primaries. Biden received 14,465,519 (87%) votes.
Aside from votes actuary mattering more than polls, voter turnout in the primaries was over 13K times larger than the participation in that poll.
It is absurd to make that assertion with the limited sample of empirical data you've provided.
