I'm not obsessed with how he votes, he is offering on a public forum. Second, he can vote for whoever he wants, but what he is putting on the forum makes no logical sense. So, in addition to being obsessed with how luthervol votes, you're also claiming to be clairvoyant, knowing what he'd do before he did it. You MAGA-gots' brains are all fly blown.
There is that bureaucratic authoritarianism belief again..talk about anti Democratic.I don't care either way. I believe the same people will be making the critical decisions regardless.
You didn’t pose this to me, but being a Kentuckian, I have a little perspective. Yes, he follows many of the standard Dem positions, but other than having state troopers lock up church goers during the beginning of Covid, he hasn’t been too terrible. I believe Beshear would be incredibly difficult to defeat for Trump. You are the only other liberal on here, so I want your opinion :
Do you agree with me, that if the objective here is just to beat Trump, that this is the best way to do it :
Gov. Andy Beshear (Kentucky) ........................... President
Gov. Roy Cooper (North Carolina) ..................... Vice President
This ticket knee caps every single line of attack that the Republicans have been using against Democrats for the last 3 1/2 years.
If the DNC wants to beat Trump badly enough, they can do it :
1) They need to go moderate.
2) They need to go outside of Washington (especially outside of the Biden Administration).
3) They need to go to Governors from red, southeastern states, who are untainted by the tribal politics of Congress.
4) They need to go young. Andy Beshear is only 46 years old. Roy Cooper is 67. Cooper is older than I would like, but still 11 years younger than Trump.
5) They need to go anti-woke.
6) They need to go Pro-2nd Amendment. Gov. Beshear is strongly opposed to banning assault rifles.
Beshear/Cooper checks every box. This ticket would win.
I don't expect it to happen .... but if you are Trump/Vance, how do you run against a ticket like Beshear/Cooper?I do agree and would love to see that scenario play out.
Harris seems to have the endorsements pouring in today, so I'm curious if there's a way to open up the field.
I agree that Harris is not much of a game changer .....Donald Trump's odds to win the Oval Office are now at -156 following Joe Biden's decision to drop out - meaning oddsmakers view him as being 61 percent likely to surface as the next president come November.
It stood as a a slight dip from a day ago when the president's odds were pegged at 64 percent, suggesting some uncertainty as Democrats mull a new candidate.

Trump odds dip as Kamala Harris sees huge surge

Everyone will hold serve until they see what polling exists in swing states for Harris vs Trump. No one, except family, votes for the VP.I guess the VP would be a term limited gov..I dont see one that would give up another term for a VP spot by playing second fiddle for 8 years, especially being popular in their own state. Have no idea who that would disqualify.
Give it a rest. There is that bureaucratic authoritarianism belief again..talk about anti Democratic.
Political Science 101..there is no accountability with a bureaucracy.
You have some ideological beliefs that you learned from some where, but it certainly isnt American Constitutional government.
Of course there are advisors. That isnt what you said.,you said ”they” make the decision.Give it a rest.
There has never been a president who did not rely on the input of people more knowledgeable. (except maybe trump)
And that is the way it should be. The accountability still rests on the president.
I highly doubt it.@BowlBrother85 @lawgator1 @luthervol
If Biden is ahead in the polls today does he drop out? Does the dem machine force him out?
Pick the white guys over the black VP. Hypocrites. You are the only other liberal on here, so I want your opinion :

You know what else having 46 year old Gov. Andy Beshear as the nominee does?Trump is too old to be president.
