That ticket will have to pass W T N 's and LSU SIU's approval. More than likely, they will veto it, but....You are the only other liberal on here, so I want your opinion :
Do you agree with me, that if the objective here is just to beat Trump, that this is the best way to do it :
Gov. Andy Beshear (Kentucky) ........................... President
Gov. Roy Cooper (North Carolina) ..................... Vice President
This ticket knee caps every single line of attack that the Republicans have been using against Democrats for the last 3 1/2 years.
If the DNC wants to beat Trump badly enough, they can do it :
1) They need to go moderate.
2) They need to go outside of Washington (especially outside of the Biden Administration).
3) They need to go to Governors from red, southeastern states, who are untainted by the tribal politics of Congress.
4) They need to go young. Andy Beshear is only 46 years old. Roy Cooper is 67. Cooper is older than I would like, but still 11 years younger than Trump.
5) They need to go anti-woke.
6) They need to go Pro-2nd Amendment. Gov. Beshear is strongly opposed to banning assault rifles.
Beshear/Cooper checks every box. This ticket would win.
Get this..........if all the other liberals behaved like me, he would have never won the nomination in 2020.So it's his health, but if all the other liberals would behave like you and vote for a mentally-incompetent candidate, he would still be in the race.
Got it.
I understand that. I have always understood that.We have been over that 100 times, luther ....
Only the President's cabinet can do that.
Just doesn’t pass the smell test if you ask me. No one even talked seriously about replacing him until after the debate then this all started overnight. Clearly orchestrated. He was so out of it that night it was obvious that the gig was up.He obviously feels he is fit to serve for 6 more months but not for four and a half year.
Perfectly reasonable.
I understand that. I have always understood that.
My point is that if the repubs felt that strongly, they would keep the issue on the front burner - at full boil.
If they actually felt that Biden remaining in office was a danger to the country, they would have taken a more aggressive approach.
Of course I voted for him over trump. But you voted for him regardless, because Orangeman bad. Ruining the country, good.
Your reasoning was to vote against Trump. Now look at cha.
