Soooooo, when exactly does Kamela plan on having a press conference. Answer any questions? Appear somewhere besides a friendly rally. I mean Trump went to the meeting of African American Journalists for crying out loud. How about Kamela do an appearance on the Five?

That’s the smart play by her campaign. Keep her on script, don’t give her a chance to say anything moronic (she will the second she gets off script), and watch Trump hurt his chances with his own stupid remarks. Anyone but Trump wins this in a runaway. As it is, I consider Kamala a slight favorite as of now.

The strategy to beat Trump has already been shown. Shut up and let him shat himself. It's how we got Biden. Why would she deviate from that strategy?

The popular vote gap has closed but the Electoral College map is about the same.
The best thing Kamala could bring to the game is increased voter enthusiasm in the urban centers in swing states like Georgia. That could increase turnout. Biden was a total non starter with those voters.

It's tightened. And my guess is her VP will help her carry a swing state. Probably PA. Ordinarily I don't put much stock in VP's but it's tight enough to matter in the swing state they are from. JMO

Unless there is a big shift in some of the currently “lean” states; the map as it stands now still comes down to WI, MI, and PA. The current simulations I am seeing show that Trump Only has to win one of those three. Harris would have to win them all. Of course that can change as the day gets closer.

They’re going to hide her. They only need it to be close in battle ground states; close enough to manufacture votes. Unless Trump can win in a landslide he has no chance. He’s been stupid for engaging in exactly what the media wants him to do, instead of sticking to attacking her record, her competence it’s shifted to BS identity politics. So Fing predictable.

I knew of JD Vance, but I clearly didn’t know who he was.

I assumed he was an adult on par with Burgum & Rubio, and could carry a swing state.

I’m quickly moving to the opinion that you were absolutely right, and I was wrong.

I think that's accurate, and before yesterday, I wouldn't have given Harris a chance .... but there was no reason at all for Trump to call her race into question, and then compound it by also strongly suggesting that Harris hasn't always identified as being black. She attended Howard University - an HBCU.

I suspect that what happened is that Trump has seen his poll numbers with African-American voters go down since Harris replaced Biden as the presumptive Democratic Party nominee and it has frustrated him.

It looks like Harris will pick Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate .... and it will be a very close election, which will probably come down to the cheese heads.
