That is how simple it is. No other possibilities. I am simply stating that once he quit the course he could have still served in the NG just more than likely not in that unit. He chose to retire because he may have had zero slots in the unit or state did not want him. I agree it is on him, but he is not a deserter or traitor as some have mentioned (not you) in previous posts. More than likely he did not have a slot available to him at the E8 level.

I’m a Trump supporter and think Walz is a hardcore leftist, but I think the criticism of the MN flag change I’ve seen is unwarranted. The new flag looks much cleaner and more recognizable. State flags that are more geometric and/or unique are great branding tools. A blue field with just a state seal is boring, IMO. The darker blue on the left represents the shape of Minnesota with the North Star.

Think how iconic the TN tri-star is, or the Lone Star, or Cali’s Bear. AZ with its rays or the NM flag with its sun. Utah even recently redid their flag. More states should redo unimaginative designs.
