Not only did he drink and drive, he also did over 90 in a 55, putting people's lives in jeopardy.

I could give him the benefit of the doubt (barely) doing something like this in his 20s, but to do this at 31 is an incredibly poor reflection on him and his decision-making capabilities. Even outside of his leftist political stances, this is not the kind of person I would want even sniffing the White House as a VP.
