Have you read Hillbilly Elegy? It gives a very good picture of the man before he entered politics. But like you say, it is impossible to tell how much of what he says now is based on core beliefs vs political expediency

lol. it was only "apparent" to you after the debate because the media stopped actively lying to you about it. not that you or them discovered some new, objective truth about the state of his health.

the truth was out there, available to your own eyes for YEARS. but instead of believing your own eyes, you let yourself believe obvious, constant lies that he was sharp as a tack.

if he really really deteriorating so fast where the media went from calling him sharp as a tack one day, to no longer healthy the next, it would be impossible to expect him to last 6 months.

like seriously, you really believed he was capable of being president for 4.5 more years one day, to he wasn't capable of being president the next 4.5 years in a DAY, that should raise some serious red flags about 6 months.

but you actively participate in the lie because you will do ANYTHING to beat Trump. buy whatever lies they need to sell, buy whatever politician they give you after you voted for another, buy that somehow Trump is the ONLY problem in this country worth addressing.

Both Trump and Winfrey had a friend and business associate who was also a sexual predator.

Both Trump and Winfrey were publicly complementary of their friend and business associate before news of their sex crimes had been made public.

There is no proof that either Trump or Winfrey had any knowledge of those crimes before the rest of the general public did.

You are willing to extend Trump the benefit of the doubt .... but not Winfrey. The reason is transparent. Your feelings are entirely based on politics.

I don't understand the disconnect. We both agree that you have said that from day one. I don't understand why you would be "ok" with someone being unfit serving for one day. Now, I have no doubt you feel Trump is unfit to serve as well. But unfit Biden can serve for 4 years and you yawn. Unfit Trump and you take issue. Strange

Just don’t overthink it. Basically, in modern America, every election ultimately boils down to an imprecise decision as to which candidate will do the least damage. In 2024, they both scare me; but Kamala actually rises to the level of absolutely TERRIFYING me. There is no one more dangerous than someone who doesn’t believe in anything other than what their advisors tell them is most likely to get them votes. Say whatever you want about Trump, but I believe he is at least his own man with his own beliefs. Kamala (to me at least) comes across as the ultimate political animal totally “unburdened” by any core beliefs. Heck, even Biden was more believable in his policy pronouncements than Harris IMO.

remember, luther thought that Biden was incapable of serving from 2021 until 2025. but up until early July 2024, the same luther, on the same continuum, on the same timeline believed the same Biden WAS capable of serving from 2025-2029.

that is some MASSIVE disconnect going on.
