2024 Presidential Race

Next you’re going to tell us you know more about his finances than Forbes does, which lists his net worth at around 15 million known, his share in the Kennedy family trust unknown and at least 6 million in assets in other interests most notably Chicago real estate. But yeah, he needs a government salary. Geez, the lengths that you will go to partisan hack.
I'm basing that 100% on what Caroline Kennedy-Schlossberg told the New York Times ... which I have posted here. Per his most famous living cousin (that's JFK's daughter), he asks his family members for money on a regular basis.

.... and think about it ... shouldn't he have a lot more than $15 million? Caroline Kennedy-Schlossberg and her husband, Ed. own a mansion on Martha's Vineyard that is worth more than that. The guy has had trouble managing his finances.

Talking about somebody that might need a job now ...

yeah, family members never lie about each other.

how close are you to 15 million net worth? I'd love it myself personally. it's critical mass - annual returns yield considerable cash flow.

the other thing you ignore is that he has job opportunities out the wazoo that are not cabinet positions.

it's a dumb accusation

Her accusation you take as truth? Especially when factoring in the fact that his wife was a huge player in the show Curb? Come on

Everything I can find has him with an estimated net worth north of $10 million dollars

His wife is a Hollywood celebrity with a net worth also over $10 million dollars

What are you talking about
For about the 10th time now ... I'm basing that completely on what Caroline Kennedy-Schlossberg told The New York Times. She said that he has personally come to her for money - even though they have never been close. She also said that she is aware of him approaching other. members of their family for money, including Maria Shriver. Shriver also confirmed that to The New York Times.

He may very well be horrible at managing his finances and I thought he would be richer than he his, but that in no way shape or form puts him in the poor house and groveling for a measly government salary.

... and you seem quick to believe that a former heroin addict wouldn't have blown through a lot of money, without accumulating any assets from it.

Would I believe Caroline Kennedy before RFK Jr? I think most people would,

Well she can't be a liar or FOS can she? That's a great way to draw opinions. I'll take the fact I know his wife was/is a major TV star that he's good. Shocking he turned his back on the Dem party and now he's being shat on. By one cousin.

I honestly hope so.

Maybe he just WANTS a job? That still serves my point. His endorsement was predicated on being offered a job. It is not based on ideology or policies. It is a quid-pro-quo arrangement. He offered his endorsement to both campaigns in exchange for a cabinet post.

Nonsense.....did you forget his insane Obama birth certificate nonsense.
He was incredibly and intentionally divisive.
He did not get the love and adoration he so desperately craved from dems., so he pivoted to an easier crowd to manipulate.
You are so wildly brainwashed it’s sad. Almost criminal how much the left has used the media to manipulate you and so many like you. Frustrating and funny, but honestly sad.

a cabinet member make in the 200K/year range. RFKJr could make more as a lawyer (which he is) easily. He could probably make that in appearance fees or in writing. Of course, investments of 4 million would yield that passively (conservatively speaking).

it's ludicrous to suggest he's just throwing out an endorsement to get a job.

you have zero to back up the bolded - in fact, you are calling him a liar because he said this specifically.

you live in your own misinformation zone

Meh .... Cheryl Hines was in one show on HBO. I liked Curb Your Enthusiasm too, and she was good in it, but it's a stretch to call her a "major TV star." I can't think of anything else I've ever seen her in, besides that.

... but like I said, I did like that show.

Horse trading is part of politics. The nominee you support for POTUS would not have the job if it hadn't been for horse trading between Biden and Clyburn. This isn't scandalous or hard to understand.

She's worth over $10 million bc of it. So sorry your narrative is crap

If RFK Jr.'s endorsement was based solely on ideology and policies, then RFK Jr. wouldn't have offered to endorse Kamala Harris - in exchange for that endorsement. It was all about the cabinet post. Whether he just WANTS it or NEEDS it, is immaterial to my main point. RFK Jr.'s endorsement was for sale to whoever offered him a cabinet position.

exactly - as I indicated earlier Sanders (who got screwed royal but Clinton) endorsed Hillary in exchange for some of his policy positions getting written into the platform. RFKJr shopped his policy positions to both camps and one listened.

He shopped his policies to both. Only one listened. One met with him repeatedly to discuss; one told him to pound sand. Harris had no interest in RFKJr policies; Trump at least said he did. Your main point is juvenile.

We got off track here .... and maybe that's my fault.

My "narrative" is that RFK Jr. was peddling his endorsement for a cabinet position - whether it was wanted or needed was not my main point. My main point was that his endorsement was for sale. He was willing to give his endorsement to whoever offered him a cabinet post.

The funny part is Trump is willing to listen to a lot of different viewpoints ie having the Union leader speak, talking with a former a Democrat and potentially offering him a position, meeting with black journalists who obviously hate him 😂, going to Detroit and meeting with a not so Republican friendly group, he may not go along with what they want, but I like the idea that he is willing to listen to other groups even though they are sometimes whacko.. who knows someone may have a good idea about something
