that is the one difference with Trump. he is upfront about his lies. most politicians have learned how to hide their lying. they aren't doing any less. they just dress it up, and make it sound nice.Trump's on a different level.
He's on record as saying "repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it".
It has ALWAYS been a foundational plank of the Bannon/Stone/Trump platform.
Hell, his first night as president he forced his press secretary to go out and blatantly and knowingly lie to the American public over something as juvenile and inconsequential as crowd size.
He stands alone - normalizing him is just sad......and ultimately harmful.......but predictable from the beginning.
So Trump lies, the left tells the truth.Trump's on a different level.

Those are all 100% facts. Instead of disputing those facts you go on some diatribe of strawman arguments.why are you considering the "withdrawal" only the last troops to leave? like you keep saying its an entire process, but you keep arbitrarily defining it to after Trump left. I think its far more expansive than that.
If Trump wanted them home, why did he wait so long to do it? he was elected in 2016, entered power in 2017, increased the number of troops, and didn't begin to pull them out until 2019. Why did he wait long enough where there was even a risk his predecessor would have to deal with it? if he cared about the troops so much, why didn't he have a plan in place that even Biden couldn't eff up?
your list also left off that Trump had 4 years to get the troops all home, and he didn't. There is no way to say Trump "began" when he removed 7k, but that Obama didn't do anything when he removed 82k.
Biden does own the eff up; but I don't think Trump deserves any/much credit for how he handled it either, at least if Obama doesn't get any credit. Afghanistan was just as much of a waste in 2017 as it was in 2020, its not like something changed.
Everybody lies.So Trump lies, the left tells the truth.
Got it, believe everything the left says!
Everybody lies.
You lie. I lie. Politicians lie. Doctors lie. Plumbers lie. Spouses lie. Children lie. Parents lie.
The one thing that cannot be true is that they all lie equally.
Given that fact.....it would seem to be clear that the amount and types of lies would be the focus.
trumpers must operate under the absurd belief that the amount and type of lying is equal.
so then the eff up is Trump's fault if he finalized it. you keep bringing up all these weird disconnects. me pointing out your inconsistencies is what is leading you to believe I have strawmen I am propping up, when I am just responding to your own posts. Those are all 100% facts. Instead of disputing those facts you go on some diatribe of strawman arguments.
The reason I refer to the last bit of troops is because that was done on Biden's watch. When Obama drew troops down, it wasn't a total eff up. When Trump drew the Troops down, It wasn't a total eff up. Trump was the one to finalize Afghanistan, that's a 100% fact. I'm n ot really concerned if he did it on your schedule because frankly you don't have any idea as to what's involved in removing man and material (neither do I. I simply recognize it's not a flip the switch type thing).
Loo, I know you h ate Trump. I'm not a huge Trump fan either but when you're not objective about what he did, it just makes you look silly. I would bet you were cheering when it was announced that we were getting out.
Biden is sharp as a tack. is probably the most impactful lie in the last couple of years in this country, maybe since at least the last election. and you had absolutely no qualms with the lie because you are willing to accept whatever it takes to defeat Trump. including a never ending spree of lies.Everybody lies.
You lie. I lie. Politicians lie. Doctors lie. Plumbers lie. Spouses lie. Children lie. Parents lie.

Yeah, it was Trump's fault. I posted a string of 100% facts that you can't dispute. I get it you hate trump. You hate him so much you can't acknowledge that he's the one that initiated getting out. You're just like the ones that can't find fault with him.so then the eff up is Trump's fault if he finalized it. you keep bringing up all these weird disconnects. me pointing out your inconsistencies is what is leading you to believe I have strawmen I am propping up, when I am just responding to your own posts.
You just don’t understand. You are stupid, a Trumpanzee. It will be the most secure election on World history. And don’t you dare question it in any way. That makes you an electrician denier. The Dems will put you and your attorneys in jail.Notice how this only happens in blue states in more recent years. They warn us in advance. It doesn't take a genius to understand what's going on.
So you want someone who wants to end private ownership of AR's, supports green deal, end nuclear power, and medicare for all as POTUS? Conservative Party is lostShould have made Gabbard the VP. Or better yet, have Gabbard at the top of the ticket and kick Trump out. If she was the nominee, this election would be practically over.
Or, alternatively, a second generation politician who pretended to be all of those things because she needed to get elected in a liberal state and then flipped those positions because it was the only way for her to continue/advance her career in politics. So you want someone who wants to end private ownership of AR's, supports green deal, end nuclear power, and medicare for all as POTUS? Yes, very low bar. She would obviously have to move further to the right, especially on energy issues. My only point was to point out that as horrible a candidate as Kamala is, it's embarrassing that Republicans aren't running away with it.Or, alternatively, a second generation politician who pretended to be all of those things because she needed to get elected in a liberal state and then flipped those positions because it was the only way for her to continue/advance her career in politics.
Better than Trump, but that is a low bar.
I'll be a hard no on both. And I don't see where she's changed her position on guns, healthcare, or energyOr, alternatively, a second generation politician who pretended to be all of those things because she needed to get elected in a liberal state and then flipped those positions because it was the only way for her to continue/advance her career in politics.

Idk about healthcare or energy, but she has flipped on guns:I'll be a hard no on both. And I don't see where she's changed her position on guns, healthcare, or energy
Idk about healthcare or energy, but she has flipped on guns:
There’s more out there, but that seems sufficient. The rest of her Instagram is pretty standard anti-Democrat, pro-MAGA stuff. Thats where her bread is buttered.
For those who don’t remember: gun control was a big issue in 2019 because the El Paso shooting occurred in August while the primary campaigns were taking place. She was right there co-sponsoring assault weapons bans and demanding votes on progressive gun bills in 2019, when she needed that policy to maintain support necessary stay in debates in the primary and build name recognition to land a role in the Biden admin. If she abandoned that policy to be more palatable to the MAGA folks, I don’t know why she would hang on to other progressive agenda items. I haven’t been able to find it, but I’m mildly curious what her position was on bump stocks after the LV shooting but before the ban took place by executive action.
She represented a pretty progressive district and IIRC, she got dumped partly for not voting to impeach Trump the first time. She knew that was coming when she decided to run for president. Once she realized she wasn’t getting hired by the Biden admin, she used her lame duck session in Congress to springboard her Fox News contributor venture by co-sponsoring some culture war bills that were popular with republicans (Tulsi Gabbard & Abortion: Democrat Introduced Two Pro-Life Bills | National Review).
She also has a track record of similar flips. Per Wikipedia, as a teen she was active in supporting legislation against gay marriage on behalf of her dad and she had to reinvent herself on that issue, just like she’s been doing with guns for the past few years.
I see the appeal () but I don’t really get it. She is somebody who has dedicated her entire life to becoming a politician and will do whatever it takes to stay relevant. She’s been great at that and may have been an effective representative, I don’t know. But if you don’t know what her views are and can’t trust her to represent the views of her district then she’s just a pundit aspiring to be a bureaucrat, right?
