90’s gave us Rodney King/Watts Riot

OJ killing/trial/verdict
Cigars and blue stained dresses
Susan Smith
First WTC bombing
I agree that the 90's definitely weren't a peaceful time in OJ's household.

The 90's also weren't a peaceful, tranquil time period in the Lorena Bobbitt household. Does that mean the 90's were a decade of huge upheaval?

Just what was reported. Camera phones exposed a lot of things the average person was oblivious to.

You come across as a clown.

Any reasonably intelligent adult, is going to interpret "a time of relative peace" in the context in which I used it, to mean "a time when the United States was not more than peripherally involved in overseas military conflicts."

Nobody is going to include acts of violent crime in any such discussion of what it means to have "peace."

Just because I noticed this the other night and found it kind of funny :

The Trump campaign has been (pretentiously) playing "My Hero" by the Foo Fighters after Trump is introduced to his crowds of rally-goers ..... I knew they would hate the hell out of that, and sure enough, Dave Grohl is suing .... and donating royalties to the Harris campaign now. The Trump campaign must know that nobody wants him using their songs. That's why they don't ask permission first.

I’m glad I know the law now. I always thought if you purchase music you could play it out loud.

Foo Fighters say they will donate royalties received from the use of the song to the Harris campaign.

.... and to use that song in such a way is incredibly cheesy. I'm surprised the Trump campaign thinks that's cool.

There's always Ted Nugent's Wang Dang Sweet Poontang

1. CNN - softball questions probably given to Harris and Walz well before the interview.
2. She had her emotional support town liar.
3. No audience.
4. Plenty of Tito's and breath mints

Still uncomfortable.

  1. Simplify the tax code. I know, I know, some of you are probably screaming “taxation is theft!” And you’re not wrong. But let’s look at the real world for a moment. Instead of adding more complexity, let’s streamline what we’ve got. A simpler tax code is harder to game and easier for everyone to understand. It’s a step in the right direction.
  2. Encourage investment and innovation. We should be creating and promoting policies that reward risk-taking and entrepreneurship, not punishing them. After all, isn’t that what made America great in the first place?
  3. Focus on economic growth. The best way to increase tax revenue isn’t to raise taxes or create new ones. It’s to grow the economy so there’s more wealth to tax in the first place. A rising tide lifts all boats, as they say.
  4. Protect property rights. The idea that the government can tax you on the increasing value of something you already own, before you’ve even considered selling it? That’s a dangerous precedent. We need to protect the fundamental right to own property without the government constantly holding out its hand saying, “Where’s my piece?”
  5. Create opportunities for all. This isn’t some DEI fantasy, but rather something we can do right now to help empower others without tearing down the successful. Let’s focus on policies that make it easier for everyone to succeed. How about bringing education back to the students and parents? Or reducing barriers to starting businesses? What if we empowered business leaders to build solutions without the fear of a government bill for some new tax?

Trump's slide began at the National Association of Black Jounalists in Chicago, where he claimed that Kamala Harris had "turned black."

That was classic Trump. He hasn't changed. He is as "rough around the edges" as ever.

He doesn't know how to run a campaign without resorting to personal attacks, that often don't make any sense. Kamala Harris attended Howard University as an undergraduate. That is one of the most famous historically black colleges/universities. Is that what a person does when they're trying to hide from their heritage?

Republicans don't seem capable of divorcing Trump. It wouldn't surprise me a bit, if he loses, and then you nominate him a 4th straight time in 2028 .... at age 82.
Trump is definitely not perfect, but again, to support Harris is to support a palace coup.

Millions of Democrat votes were thrown out to put her at the top of the ticket. The Democrats covered up Biden's mental decline instead of acknowledging it and holding a primary. I imagine they wanted him to win, then step aside in early 2025 so they could then get the first black woman POTUS. That is just a guess.

They did essentially the same thing to Bernie Sanders. The Democrats are the party of the elite now, and they don't give two ***** about the will of their own voters. First they fought tooth and nail to keep RFK Jr off the ballot, now they are fighting to keep him on it, but only because they think it will hurt Trump.

Never mind the lawfare the Democrats have waged on Trump, including trying to keep him off the ballot in Colorado. Biden's #3 in the DOJ quit to work for the NY prosecutor, but that wasn't a political indictment at all, right?

Speaking of Colorado, what's happening in Aurora is a direct result of Biden & Harris's immigration policy. They reversed Trump's border policies on day 1, and just gave Venezuelan gangs control of multiple apartment complexes there. What a disaster. What American could support that?

Bedside manner aside, Trump's policies are right down the middle for the most part. In fact, last night he came out in favor of legalizing cannabis.

Harris doesn't have any policy positions of her own. She copied Trump's policy of not taxing tips, but other than that she is a word salad of platitudes.

The woke minded liberals feel so good about themselves when they imagine electing the first black woman as POTUS that they are willing to sacrifice American prosperity for it.

Or more like she is on team One that wanted them all dead to start with.

Kamala nor Obama, Biden, Bush, Clinton, Cheney, McCain, etc could give two ***** whether any of these people died. For the most part, it was part of the plan.

Soldiers didn't go to Vietnam to win, they went to Vietnam so someone could get money eventually back here. The dying part is just a price of doing business. (rinse and repeat)

Very similar to caring about the hairy thing or women.... you don't care.

Everyone cares about about the poor soldiers but somehow they always go back and vote for the same stupid ass nonsense. The Truth is you really don't care, you never did, and you probably never will
You're so FOS. 😆 I've never seen someone spend so much time telling other people what they think and assigning motives as you do. You haven't got the first damn clue as to what another poster thinks or know their motives.

What a pathetic clown. Spending the entirety of the game sharing your ignorant thoughts on a political message board. You must really get off on the anonymity of it. You're both weak minded and spineless, and usually have no idea what you're talking about about
