Is that “lift” for those making less than $100K per year (a ridiculously high number even if you accept the premise) applicable to all people or just black people? Poverty doesn’t see skin color. Then again, someone making $70K+ per year is nowhere near poverty if they are managing their money properly. I could even drop that number lower but I’ll say $70K for now. I don’t mind helping those who have tried to help themselves and just can’t, hit really tough times, etc. I’ve been kicked around in life myself so I understand sometimes things happen. 90%+ of the time it’s due to our own actions but not always. What she’s throwing out is just another form of wealth redistribution so we can prop up the lazy and get more people dependent on government. No thanks.
